Chandigarh September 18- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the people and society have high expectations from the administrative officers. He urged the officers to perform better while working with the spirit of Antyodaya in the State. He urged the officers to ensure the public welfare by meeting the expectations of the people across the State.
The Chief Minister was presiding over the meeting of Haryana Civil Services 2020 batch officers here today.
The Chief Minister said that the 2020 batch is the largest batch of Civil Services and the Government has selected all the officers only on the basis of merit. He said that officers had faced tough times while joining during Covid crisis. He said that in these tough times, the officers have self-trained which will make it easier to work ahead. Civil service officers should work sincerely with their strong will power and moral responsibility. The Chief Minister urged the officers to perform administrative work with more perfection. He said that a good start up will take them to great heights.
The Chief Minister said that Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) is the flagship scheme of the state government. This scheme will bring social and economic stability in the lives of one lakh poor families this year. Under this scheme, the task of verification of 64 lakh families is being done. In addition to this, the birth certificate, death certificate, marriage certificate etc. will also be linked to the PPP. After this, these certificates will be made available to the people at their doorsteps. He said that the pension scheme would also be linked with PPP. He said that the pension of the beneficiary attaining the age of 60 years would be approved automatically.
The Chief Minister said that under Meri Fasal Mera Byora Yojana, every acre of land in Haryana has to be registered twice in a year.
The objective of the Government is to double the income of farmers’ by evaluating their crops. Under Swamitva Yojana, land ownership certificates will be provided to the people in the villages across the State. 24 hours electricity has been provided in about 5500 villages of the state under Mhara gaon Jagmag gaon Yojana. Remaining villages will also be linked to this scheme in the upcoming year. He said that villagers are being motivated to pay electricity bills for this scheme.
Field experience plays vital role
The Chief Minister said that it is necessary for every Civil Service officer to gain field experience and to learn the work of social interest. Regarding the appointment of HCS officers to Block Development and Panchayat Officer (BDPO), the Chief Minister said that the officers should not think about the work zone/Department assigned to them. He said that some IAS officers have also been posted as BDPOs during their training. Development of villages is the responsibility of BDPO and this post will enhance their skills which will further help them to become best officers.
