Chandigarh, October 30- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the Chief Minister's Good Governance Associates should work towards increasing the scale of Happiness Index in the state so that every citizen is happy and lives a prosperous life. The Chief Minister was presiding over a review meeting with good Governance Associates here today.
The Chief Minister said that good parameters should be made in the state, which will bring happiness to all the people. He said that the speed of implementation of the schemes of the government should increase at the grassroot level and their benefits should reach each and every person standing on the last rung. He said that the schemes of employment and development should reach the doorstep of the beneficiaries and they should have complete information about these schemes.
He said that there should be an increase in the monthly income of every needy person. He said that the next year would be celebrated as the year of good governance.
Need for new revenue consolidation
The Chief Minister said that there are solutions to problems that arise in the society. The government has launched a dispute resolution programme. To make the villages Lal Dora free and to make every person the owner, the Swamitva Yojana has been started. He said that at present there are many share holders of the land. This has necessitated a new revenue consolidation. Every person should be able to easily remember the Khasra and Fort number of his land.
Bring honour to the State
He said that the government has won many medals and awards in many fields during the last seven years as a result of which the state's prestige has increased. He asked the Associates to establish new dimensions by using their talent and ideas in those areas where top ranking has not yet been achieved.
He said that constantly moving from latest technology to innovation, the state has to be taken towards greater heights.
The Chief Minister said that the appreciation given to him by Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi in the past for serving the citizens is dedicated to the people of the state. He said that there is a desire to serve the people more in order to uphold this recognition given by the Prime Minister.
Gram Darshan Portal and Jan Sahayak App
The Chief Minister said that Gram Darshan Portal has been made for the development of every village. Through this, any person can make a demand related to the development of the village. Ward member, Sarpanch, Zilla Parishad member, MLA and MP will recommend their demand and their problem will be resolved. Online demand can be made on the portal regarding schools, colleges, health centres, construction of streets, Shivdham development scheme etc. Similarly, Jan Sahayak App has been created for online information and services of citizens.
Better education facilities
The Chief Minister said that Model Sanskriti Schools for higher level education, Play Way Schools and Model Schools have been set up for primary education. Apart from this, education is being provided to needy meritorious students in the Super 100 programme for JEE and competitive examinations. In these, the focus should be on providing high quality education so that quality education is imparted.
Samarpan app
The Chief Minister said that volunteers would be prepared through the Samarpan App in the state so that their services could be taken in education, health, agriculture, plantation as well as other fields. In this app, the volunteers who are willing to serve can apply.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the problem solving system to improve the experience of e-office users and also released a book on Beti Bachao Beti Padhao. Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister and Director General, Information, Public Relations and Languages Department, Dr. Amit Agrawal held a discussion with good governance colleagues and shared his experiences. Good Governance associates made a presentation about making the schemes and programmes effective. Trustee, Ashoka University, Sh. Vinit Gupta, representatives of Hero, Dell, Foundation, Yokohama, Cisco and Samagra Group were also present in the meeting.
