Chandigarh, December 14- On the second day of his Varanasi visit, Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today apprised about the welfare schemes and new initiatives being run by the Haryana government during the Mukhyamantri Parishad which was chaired by the Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi.
Mukhyamantri Parishad was attended by the Chief Ministers of BJP governed states. During this, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the ambitious scheme Parivar Pehchan Patra is being implemented by the Haryana Government to provide benefits of government schemes and services to the eligible persons through new technologies.
He said that the Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana has been started by the government for the upliftment of the families standing last in line. Under this, families with an annual income of less than Rs. 1.80 lakh have been identified and it is being ensured that the family income of such families is increased up to Rs 1.80 lakh by providing skill training and financial assistance for self-employment.
Efforts will be made to achieve this goal and Antyodaya Gram Utthan Melas are being organized in the state during which detailed information about various schemes related to self-employment, wages, skill development etc. is being given to all the beneficiaries. These fairs are being organized in the state till December 25.
Sh. Manohar Lal said that the present state government aims to make every family self-reliant and he hoped that Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana would prove to be a milestone in that direction.
