Chandigarh, January 7: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh Manohar Lal said that the Government of Haryana is committed to ensure transparency in all delivered welfare services to its beneficiaries with special reference to medical services availed by the poor and needy. He added that previously it was not feasible for the poor to get better medical treatment from Super Speciality Private Hospitals but now through endeavour of our State Government the doors of the private hospitals are open for them.

Today, Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal launched a portal for providing free treatment to poor patients in private hospitals that have been allotted land by Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) in various urban estates. These hospitals will now maintain real time data record of patients belonging from BPL or Class IV employees of Haryana Government who are being given treatment on concessional rates. In order to ensure transparency the Chief Minister directed the authorities of such hospitals to maintain data in real time and upload all necessary details along with bills and other supporting documents on the portal.

Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal connected with various hospitals that have been allotted land by HSVP through video conferencing and took extensive details regarding the treatment of such patients and also addressed their issues. Hospitals like Artemis Medicare Services Pvt. Ltd, Gurugram, Fortis Heart & Multi Speciality Hospital Gurugram, Medi City (Medanta), Gurugram, Pushpanjali Hospital, Rewari, Sarvodya Hospital, Faridabad, and many other gave detailed information about their offered charges and facilities given to such beneficiaries.

During the meeting Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. DS Dhesi, Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Town & Country Planning and Urban Estates Department, Sh. Devender Singh, Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Health & Family Welfare Department, Sh. Rajeev Arora, Chief Administrator, Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran, Sh. Ajit Balaji Joshi were present.
