Chandigarh, February 14- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal inaugurated the newly constructed Drishyam Control Room at the Mini Secretariat, Nuh on Monday. With this control room, criminal activities in the district can be easily monitored. The Chief Minister said that with the help of Drishyam Control Room, the police administration would be greatly facilitated. Now every incident of the district will be recorded by a third eye.
Around 40 CCTV cameras installed
Around 40 CCTV cameras have been installed in the main squares and crowded areas of the district to keep an eye on criminal activities. The special thing about the cameras is that these can capture every movement up to 7 kilometers, day and night, and zooming in anything up to 100 meters can be assessed accurately.
SP can also keep an eye through mobile
SP, Sh. Varun Singla said that till now a cost of Rs 35 lakh has has been incurred on the Hi-Tech Drishyam Kendra. Eight LEDs have been installed in this centre. A special control room has been set up. Along with the police officers and employees posted in the control room, they themselves can keep an eye on their mobiles.
