Chandigarh, March 5 – Haryana Government today took another step towards providing better health services to the people of the State.

Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today launched a Portal for the convenience of the applicants seeking financial assistance on medical grounds under Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. This portal will ease the process for the applicants seeking financial assistance on medical grounds.

During the launch of the Portal, Sh. Manohar Lal said that after re-examining the earlier procedure, directions were given to digitalize the process through the SARAL Portal for the convenience of the general public seeking financial assistance. Sh. Manohar Lal further said that now the applicants can simply apply on the SARAL Portal through her/ his PPP ID, upload relevant documents like medical bills, OPD bills etc. and can apply for financial assistance on medical grounds from CMRF.  

After the launch the Chief Minister also said that our Government's mandate is to ensure good governance across the state. He added that our aim is to provide benefits to the applicants within the stipulated time frame.

While giving detailed information regarding the portal OSD to Chief Minister, Sh. Sudhanshu Gautam said that after applying on the portal the application is further marked to the login of Public Representatives of the concerned area (MP, MLA, Chairman Zila Parishad, Chairman Block Samiti, Mayor/President of MCs) for which they may recommend the case within 5 days.

Thereafter, the application will be pushed to the user of Deputy Commissioner, who in turn will simultaneously forward the application to concerned Tehsildar and Civil Surgeon for verification of land details and medical documents respectively.

He added that a District Level Committee will meet fortnightly and will recommend the cases for grant of financial assistance on medical grounds to the Chief Minister's office. The amount shall be transferred directly in the account of the applicant or beneficiary.

He further said that Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has taken the decision to include another 22 serious diseases under the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

Haryana Chief Secretary, Sh. Sanjeev Kaushal, Chief Principal Secretary, Sh. DS Dhesi, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. V. Umashankar, OSD to Chief Minister, Sh. Sudhanshu Gautam and other officers of NIC were also present on the occasion.
