Chandigarh, April 4 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal on Monday inspected the construction work of a pond which is being constructed with an estimated amount of more than Rs. 1 crore in village Sewah of Panipat district. Sh. Manohar Lal directed the officers to get this pond constructed within the stipulated time-frame. He further said that the water which is brought into the pond after the cleaning process of STP should be put according to the prescribed standards.
On the demand for reconstruction of the streets put before the Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal by MLA, Sh. Mahipal Dhanda, JJP leader, Sh. Devender Kadian and Sarpanch, Sh. Khushdil Kadian, he directed the Deputy Commissioner, Sh. Sushil Sarwan to coordinate with the officers of the concerned departments for rebuilding the streets of the said village.
The Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal directed the officers that supporting walls should also be constructed around the pond in village Sewah so that people can go for morning walk around it. Saplings should also be planted around it. In addition to it, a railing should also be installed. The Chief Minister was apprised that the passage for the movement of animals has been made sloping so that they do not face any problem in their movement. Earlier, the Chief Minister took stock of the STP under construction at Barsat Road.
Municipal Commissioner, Sh. R. K Singh also gave detailed information to Chief Minister Manohar Lal. MP,Sh. Sanjay Bhatia, MLA,Sh. Mahipal Dhanda and Mayor, Smt. Avneet Kaur were also present on the occasion.
