Chandigarh, April 6 - Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal gave a bonanza of development projects, including 91 schemes to Kurukshetra district to be built at a cost of Rs 317 crore.

Besides this, the Chief Minister also inaugurated 4 Mega Projects built at a cost of Rs 14.30 crore. The Chief Minister reached Pehowa in Kurukshetra district where the BJP Foundation Day Rally was organized today.

The Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that almost all the demands of the people's representatives of areas falling in Kurukshetra district namely, Pehowa, Thanesar, Ladwa and Shahabad have been accepted. He announced an amount of Rs 9.50 crore for the development of Pehowa Sarovar. This work will be done by Kurukshetra Development Board. The Chief Minister also announced a budget of Rs 200 crore for Kurukshetra Municipality and Panchayats.

Along with this, Animal Hospital, Ismailabad, Community Centre in Ladwa, park named after leader Ishwar Dayal in Pehowa, mortuary and 50-bedded Hospital in Pehowa, new building of Primary Health Centre in Ladwa, Rs. 21 crore for 25 roads of marketing board in the district, construction of new sector on the side of National Highway in Pehowa, approval of 9 demands related to irrigation, new steel bridge at Narwana branch at a cost of Rs. 24 crore, 150 water recharging tubewells, Rs 9.50 crore for Saraswati Tirth, Rs. 52 crore to build a stadium for Kurukshetra Circuit House, Rs 25 crore for building of sub-division Ladwa, and Rs 2 crore for stadium in sub-division Pehowa. The Chief Minister said that it is difficult to list out all the schemes here, but the information about the approved schemes will be sent to the Deputy Commissioner.

Speaking on the Foundation Day of BJP, Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that today is a special day as it is the 42nd Foundation Day of the party. BJP is unlike other parties which only enjoys power. The goal of this party is to serve the society and serve the country. We have fulfilled what we have said. Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee had talked about the abrogation of Article 370 at the time of Jana Sangh, Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi has done it. We spoke of building Lord Ram Temple, now its construction is going on in Ayodhya. BJP was working with 2 members in 1984, while working continuously in flow now the party has formed the government in most of the states as well as in the Centre.

We developed the State and transformed the system

Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that along with developing the state, we have also worked for bringing about a change in the system. He added that the present government has completed the incomplete Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway. Apart from this, Orbital Rail Corridor was also started. 17 projects of National Highway were announced, out of which 11 have been completed, work is going on at a fast pace on the remaining projects. Today the connectivity of National Highways is excellent and NHs are connecting districts very well. Patiala-Pehowa-Thanesar-Yamunanagar National Highway will also be constructed. To solve the problem of railway gates in Thanesar, the construction work of 5-km long elevated railway bridge is going on, while in Rohtak also, the elevated railway bridge has been built to solve similar problem. It will also be inaugurated soon. An elevated railway bridge will also be built in Kaithal. With their formation, not only industries will be set up, but there will be economic development of the state and employment opportunities will also be generated.

Medical college will be there in every district

Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that keeping in mind the health services, medical colleges would be set up in each district. Four new medical colleges have been announced in this budget. Earlier there were only 7 medical colleges in the state which had only 700 MBBS seats. After the establishment of medical colleges in all the districts, there will be 2,900 MBBS seats. With this, there will be no shortage of doctors in the state.

International level airport being built in the state

Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that an international airport is being built in Hisar. The government has given 4,000 acres of land for this. This will attract industries and increase employment opportunities as well. He said that under the Padma Yojana, clusters would be formed at the block level for setting up industries in 50 to 100 acres of land. This will give employment to thousands of people in that area. The Chief Minister said that work has been done to simplify the system through Parivar Pehchan Patra. Today, one does not have to visit government offices time and again for Old Age Pension, but the pension is being transferred automatically as soon as the beneficiary attains the age of 60 years. In Pehowa also, pension acceptance letters have been given to 10 elderly people through PPP. Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that Rozgaar Melas are being organized to increase the income of economically weaker families. Under these, loan approval letters have been given to 10 people in Pehowa under the Mukhya Mantri Utthan Yojana. Similarly, to get a BPL card, you will not have to fill the form. Eligible families will get it on their own.

Government taking care of every section

Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the government is taking care of every section of the society. Developmental plans are being made for all. Model Sanskriti Schools are being opened for the students, which is improving the standard of education. Meri Fasal, Mera Byora scheme has been formulated for the farmers. The government is buying 14 crops at MSP. With this, farmers can get the payment of their crop within 72 hours in their bank account. Bhavantar Bharpayee Yojana, Pashu Bima Yojana, Bhagwani Yojana have been formulated to compensate the farmers for crop loss.

Chief Minister inaugurated these projects

Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal inaugurated four mega projects at a cost of Rs. 14.30 crore during the rally organized at Pehowa. In this, 33KV power sub-station in village Daulatpur at a cost of 4.05 crore, 33KV power sub-station in village Mandi at a cost of 4.6 crore, 33KV power sub-station in Bhore-Sarsa at a cost of 2.45 crore including the new building of Thanesar Senior Secondary School at a cost of Rs 3.20 crore.

Chief Minister is concerned about the last person standing in the queue - Sports Minister

Sports Minister and Convener of Foundation Day Rally organized at Pehowa, Sh. Sandeep Singh said that Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal is concerned for the last person standing in the queue. Every department has progressed under his leadership. The Sports Minister said that the elderly leave the property for the family, but the Chief Minister says that they should also save water for the next generation. He congratulated everyone on BJP's Foundation Day and also thanked the Chief Minister, who gave a bonanza of developmental projects worth crores of rupees for the Pehowa area.

Sh. Sandeep Singh said that today is the Foundation Day of BJP which is being celebrated in a grand manner across the country. He added that the state has made incredible progress in the field of sports. Due to the New Sports Policy, youth are bringing laurels to the country by winning medals.
