Chandigarh, May 20 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the schools from Classes I to XII running in one building across the state will be merged into one. The head of these schools will also be the same. Along with this, teachers will also be rationalized soon. The government is going to make a new system in this regard soon. Work is being done on this. The Chief Minister was responding to queries in a Press Conference at Haryana Niwas on Friday.
He said that most of the schools in the entire state are such that different primary, higher and senior secondary schools are running in the same building. They also have separate heads. The government is soon going to integrate these schools. A new system will be implemented in this regard soon. The teachers of these schools will also be rationalised. With this, the shortage of teachers will be filled, if there is still a shortage, then the government will fill it soon.
The Chief Minister said that the number of students in government schools is continuously increasing. The main reason for this is the continuous improvement in education. Two task forces have been formed to improve the schools. One task force is working for the requirements of road, boundary wall, path, water, toilet and greenery in the schools and the other task force is working for providing dual benches. Smart classrooms are running in almost every school. Electricity has been arranged. If there is a problem, solar power systems have been installed in the school buildings there.
The Chief Minister said that not only in Haryana but also abroad, no state has distributed 5 lakh tablets to the students at the same time. Haryana Government has provided tablets with Personalized Adaptive Learning (PAL) at a cost of Rs. 650 crore. 500 Model Sanskriti Schools are being opened across the state. In some places, there is a queue of students to take admission even before they open. Children from families with annual income less than Rs 1.80 lakh are being provided education free of cost while others are being charged a normal fee.
The Chief Minister said that online transfer of teachers who have been suspended for the last two years will also be opened soon. At the same time, the CET exam to be held in the state has been notified. Soon HSSC will release its advertisement, after which the examination will be conducted. No interview is required for this, so appointment can be done immediately.
