Chandigarh, June 27 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the Deputy Commissioners should complete the process of registration of lands registered on the e-Bhoomi portal at the earliest.  Along with this, the farmers who are willing to give land for different projects should immediately get the land signed in the presence of Tehsildar.  The Chief Minister was speaking during the meeting of the High Power Land Purchase Committee at the Haryana Secretariat on Monday.  Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala was also present in this meeting.

During the meeting, 181.98 acres of land was purchased for 6 projects of Public Works Department (Building and Roads).  This land has been bought for Rs 157.38 crore.  0.6 acres of land was required by the Public Works Department to build a road from Lalya to Chhota Barola on the Tangri river in Ambala. This land has been bought for Rs 18.6 lakh.  Similarly, 3.6875 acres of land was required by the Public Works Department to build a new road from Machhrauli to Patasani in Jhajjar.  This land has been purchased through the e-bhoomi portal for Rs 92.19 lakh.

Along with this, 26.89 acres of land was required by the Public Works Department for the construction of four line road of Chhuchakwas bypass of Jhajjar.  This land has been bought for Rs 860.80 lakh.  In Hisar district, 120 acres of land was required to build a four-lane road from NH-9 to NH-52.  This land has been bought for Rs 13200 lakh.  2.8938 acres of land was required by the Public Works Department to build the road from Majra Dubaldhan to Jatela Dham in Jhajjar district.  This land has been bought for Rs 101.28 lakh.  28 acres of land was required for the construction of road from NH-44 to NH 334B in Sonipat district.  This land has been bought from the villagers of different villages for Rs 1465.20 lakh.

E-bhoomi portal is proving to be an efficient platform

Sh. Manohar Lal said that land is being purchased for different projects through e-bhoomi portal.  Along with transparency, farmers are also benefiting from this.  So far, Haryana Government has fixed rates for 60 projects through this portal, under which 1154 acres of land has been finalised.  This land has been bought for Rs 554.76 crore.  This has helped in timely completion of various projects of the government.  During the meeting, Chief Minister reviewed the purchase of land related to 15 projects.  Along with this, directions were also given to the Deputy Commissioner, Rewari to complete the registration of land purchase for AIIMS to be built in Rewari at the earliest.

In this meeting, Transport Minister, Sh. Mool Chand Sharma, Agriculture Minister, Sh. JP Dalal, Cooperation Minister, Dr. Banwari Lal, Urban Local Bodies Minister, Dr. Kamal Gupta, Haryana Chief Secretary, Sh. Sanjeev Kaushal, Finance Commissioner, Sh. PK Das, Additional Chief Secretary, Irrigation and Water Resources Department, Sh. Devender Singh, Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Department, Dr. Sumita Misra, Additional Chief Secretary, Public Health Engineering Department, Sh. Apoorva Kumar Singh and other senior officers were present. All the Deputy Commissioners joined the meeting through video conferencing.
