Chandigarh, September 9 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has directed the officers of the Forest Department to immediately carry out a  ward-wise survey in urban and rural areas to identify the old trees which have become hollow and are likely to pose a danger to human life and property.

“Trimming of such trees after taking required approvals should be done at the earliest to avoid any untoward incident as in past many incidents of falling of such trees has been reported,” directed Sh. Manohar Lal, while presiding over the department-wise review meeting on the budget announcements held on Friday.

While reviewing the announcements related to the Sports Department, Chief Minister directed that the attendance record of coaches and players in sports nurseries should be made available online and this record would be regularly updated on the portal which should further be linked with the CM Dashboard.

The Chief Minister further directed the Sports department should set up its own engineering wing for the repair of sports stadiums so that maintenance of these stadiums can be ensured in a better way.

“Alike Panchkula, the Sports Department should also plan to set up a National Level Scientific Training and Rehabilitation Centre in Gurugram at the earliest,” directed Sh. Manohar Lal.

Prepare a district-wise and state-wise list of works to be completed on a priority basis

Sh. Manohar Lal directed the Urban Local Bodies Department to separately prepare a district-wise and state-wise list of works to be completed on a priority basis on the Nagar Darshan Portal.

The works should be completed on the basis of this list. We have given the right to the public to put forward their demand regarding the development works of their area on the Nagar Darshan portal and the list shared by the citizens should be given priority. We have to make Nagar Darshan Portal into a reality, said Chief Minister.

Ensure the earliest disbursal of animal husbandry loan to Antyodaya families

The Chief Minister directed the Animal Husbandry Department to provide loans to Antyodaya families for animal husbandry at the earliest. Talks should be held with the concerned bank that will be providing loans to these families so as to ensure the earliest disbursal. Along with this, extensive mass awareness should be done regarding the benefits of the Kisan Credit Card for the fish farmers so that the maximum fishermen can take advantage of it, asserted Sh. Manohar Lal.

The Chief Minister directed the officers concerned to run a special awareness camp for the same. He also directed the officers to immediately buy land for executing the works under Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana.  For this, the department should raise its demand on the e-Bhoomi portal and complete the land purchase process at the earliest. He also directed the officers to start the project of setting up an aquarium in Gurugram.
