Chandigarh, October 22- Haryana Chief Minister has extended warm greetings to the people of the state for Dhanteras Diwali, Govardhan Puja and Vishwakarma Puja. He prayed for the happiness, prosperity and good fortune of the State.

Sh. Manohar Lal said that the festival of Deepawali begins with the celebration of Dhanteras. Lord Dhanvantari, the god of Ayurveda, is worshipped on Dhanteras.

Deepawali signifies the victory of good over evil and light over darkness. People of the state should follow the path shown by Lord Shri Ram and enjoy the festival with peace and prosperity, said Sh. Manohar Lal.

He said that Lord Vishwakarma is the presiding deity of all craftsmen and architects. Factory workers, Artisans, craftsmen, mechanics, smiths, industrial workers, and workers of all kinds worship Lord Vishwakarma.

The Chief Minister also extended warm greetings and best wishes to the citizens on the auspicious festival of Bhai Dooj. He appealed to the people of the state to maintain mutual harmony and brotherhood.
