Chandigarh, December 1- Haryana Cabinet which met under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal here today accorded approval to a proposal regarding the Amendment of Haryana Printing and Stationery Department Industrial (Group C) Service Rules, 1998. These rules may be called the Haryana Printing and Stationery Department Industrial (Group-C) Service (Amendment) Rules, 2022.

Presently in the Printing & Stationery Department the post of Electrician, Personal Computer with Advance Technology with Laser Printer Machine Operator (PCATMO), Photo Type Setter Composing Machine Operator (PTSOMO), Lithographer Retoucher Artist, Hello Printer, Layout Artist-cum-Paster and Four Color Web Offset Machine Operator are Ex-cadre posts. No promotion channel exists for these posts and there is a necessity to amend the Haryana Printing and Stationery Department Industrial (Group C) Service Rules 1998 for providing channel of promotion of ex-cadre posts to General Foreman.
