Chandigarh, February 19: Haryana Association of North America, president, Sh. Rajesh Vashisht paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, at his residence and apprised about the work being done by the association.

The Chief Minister said that the state government has constituted the Foreign Cooperation Department, to easily provide facilities to the students desirous of going abroad for education and employment. He said that the Haryana Association of North America should cooperate with the Foreign Cooperation Department, create mutual coordination and also guide the children going for education and employment abroad.

Sh. Vashisht expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for organizing Gita Jayanti Mahotsav at the international level. He said that apart from foreign nationals, a large number of overseas Haryanvis participated in the International Gita Mahotsav held in Canada. He also invited the Chief Minister for a visit to Canada.
