Chandigarh, February 26- After adopting the Haryana Government's unique initiative to make villages Lal Dora free under the banner of the SVAMITVA scheme, now the Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi has advised all the states to adopt Manohar Sarkar's ambitious Parivar Pehchan Patra scheme.
This was stated by Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal while addressing the public at Janta Darbar held at Karnal Club in Karnal district today. During the Darbar, the Chief Minister listened to the problems of the people and ordered on-the-spot redressal.
People attending the Janta Darbar said that they are really happy to see that their 'Mukhyamantri' along with the top officials of his administrative wing has taken the initiative of directly interacting with the common man.
"Never we have thought that the Chief Minister himself is listening to the problems by sitting with the higher officials and solving them on the spot," said the attendees.
The Chief Minister said that the people of the state are his family and Janta Darbar is a unique experiment of listening to the problems of the people. Earlier, Samvad programmes have also been organized in Rohtak, Sirsa, Sonipat, and Kurukshetra districts, said Sh. Manohar Lal.
He assured the people that their problems would be solved at the earliest.

The Chief Minister said that by starting a new initiative, the government had launched the Vivadon se Samadhan programme, under which new policies were formulated to address the grievances of people in various departments.
Responsibility for taking care of citizens assigned to specific departments
Sh. Manohar Lal said that using the data available in the Parivar Pehchan Patra database, the government has decided to assign the responsibility of taking care of citizens to specific departments.
He said that the age group up to 6 years has been assigned to the Department of Women and Child Development so that every needy child can be taken care of, irrespective of whether the child is currently attending an Anganwadi centre or not.
The age group above 6 years and up to 18 years have been assigned to the school Education department to ensure that no child remains out of school. Similarly, the age group above 18 years and up to 25 years has been assigned to the Higher Education department to ensure that every youth is either educated or gets skilled for jobs.
The age group above 25 years and up to 40 years has been assigned to the Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Department to ensure skill, entrepreneurship, and employment for the youth, said Sh. Manohar Lal.
The Chief Minister informed that the age group of 40 to 60 years would be taken care of by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department and people above 60 years of age would be taken care of by the SEWA Department.
“It is an ambitious programme of our government to ensure the reach of benefits of welfare schemes to the people of the state at their doorsteps,” he added.
The Chief Minister said that there are around 3600 persons in the age group of 80 years or above who are living by themselves based on PPP data.
With the introduction of the Varishta Nagrik Sewa Ashram Scheme where they will be provided care in a Sewa Ashram, where all facilities including healthcare for senior citizens will be available under one roof, he added.
Every department, region and class has been taken care of in the state budget 2023-24
The Chief Minister said that on February 23, 2023, as the Finance Minister, he presented the State Budget for the financial year 2023-24. Keeping in mind the growth and welfare of every department, every sector and every class, new schemes have been announced, on which work will start from April 1. The budget is a key document to implement the plans of the government for one year.
Sh. Manohar Lal said that he feels happy that the general public has appreciated the budget. He said that the process of recruitment in government jobs would be expedited.
