Chandigarh, March 18- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal directed the officers to promptly implement the schemes and announcements made in the general budget so that the benefits could reach the public at the earliest. After reviewing in detail regarding 67 new announcements of 15 Departments, the Chief Minister directed the officers to successfully implement them in a time-bound manner.
The Chief Minister gave these directions while presiding over a meeting with the Administrative Secretaries here today. In the meeting, Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala, School Education Minister, Sh. Kanwar Pal, Transport Minister, Sh. Mool Chand Sharma, Energy Minister, Sh. Ranjit Singh, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Sh. J P Dalal, Urban Local Bodies Minister, Dr. Kamal Gupta, Minister of state for Social Justice and Empowerment, Sh. O. P Yadav, Minister of State for Women and Child Development, Smt. Kamlesh Dhanda, Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Sh. Anoop Dhanak were also present.
The Chief Minister said that the government faced hurdles while implementing various schemes and development works during the Covid crises, but now the state government has expedited the pace of completing development work so as to ensure timely benefits to the public. He said that hostels will be set up for working women in Gurugram, Faridabad and Panchkula. For this, he directed the officers to complete the formalities by this month and initiate the work from next month. He further directed to expedite the process of running Crèche Centres for the children of laborers working in the industrial sector.
The Chief Minister also directed the officers to expedite the process of setting up 4,000 playway schools in rural areas of the state. Besides planting trees in more than 5 acres of land in every district under the Amrit Van Yojana, more and more shady plants should be planted around public places and Amrit Sarovars. Apart from this, the process of the Safari Park to be built in Aravalli in Gurugram should also be expedited.
Sh. Manohar Lal said that for the investigation of cybercrimes, the new police stations should be set up in every district so that these police stations can send their reports directly to the ADGP headquarters from the month of April. Apart from this, under the Suraksha Prahari Yojana, the work of establishing contact and inquiring about the well-being of elderly people (above 80 years old) residing alone should also be started.
The Chief Minister directed the officers to expedite the process of setting up coaching centres for competitive examinations for the youth of families having annual income less than Rs. 1.80 lakh. A portal should be launched for the successful implementation of Chirayu Haryana Yojana so that the process of providing health benefits can be started after registering them on the portal. For this, the cooperation of charitable organizations working in the health sector should also be taken, so that health check-ups can be done at the earliest. He directed the officers to ensure and expedite the work of Medical College and Nursing College in a time bound manner.
In order to promote tourism, the Chief Minister directed the officers to expedite the ongoing development works at Dhosi hill in Mahendragarh, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Memorial in Lohgarh and Rakhi Garhi. Basic structural infrastructure should also be prepared in the schools to be built in every block under PM Shree Yojana. 70 mobile units for the treatment of animals must also be ensured soon. To make the youth self-reliant, drone tech training should also be started from next month. 75 percent subsidy will be provided on the purchase of drones, he added.
The Chief Minister informed that the government has also started the process of providing grants to gaushalas so that stray cows do not wander on the roads. The Gaushala operators will get this grant if they provide shelter to the stray cows.
