Chandigarh, April 2: Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has announced that the vehicles auctioned by the police department in all the districts will now be auctioned online. An order in this regard will be issued by the state government to the police in all the districts. Apart from this, to prevent migration from villages to cities, the Chief Minister announced that city-like facilities including education, health, transport, etc, would be provided in the villages and colonies will be developed in big villages in the near future.
The Chief Minister was addressing the people in a Jan Samvad programme at Bhiwani’s Kharak Kalan village today. During the programme, a person from the village requested the Chief Minister to initiate online auction process of the vehicles; presently being auctioned by the police department, following which the announcement was made by the Chief Minister.
Several works approved in Kharak Kalan village, amount of Rs 2.30 crore will be given for this financial year
The Chief Minister announced that the state government has approved the demand of the villagers for construction of a community centre in the village. Apart from this, he directed the officials that the renovation work of the village pond should be completed by the month of August. The Chief Minister said that so far Rs 60 lakh had been given for Kharak Kalan village and Rs 2.30 crore has been sanctioned for this financial year. Apart from this, a grant of Rs 70 crore has also been given under various types of grants.
During the programme, the Chief Minister also announced a financial assistance of Rs 50,000 from his personal fund to farmer Ajit; who shared information about his treatment. The Chief Minister also instructed the Deputy Commissioner to get his pension and yellow card made.
12 lakh new ration cards made
The Chief Minister said that the state government has started the process of making automatic ration cards through the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP), under which about 12 lakh new ration cards have been made. “Now only eligible people are getting the benefits of government scheme. About 300 new cards have also been made in Kharak Kalan village,” he added.
In Kharak Kalan village, 286 people availed the facility of free health treatment and an amount of Rs 30.5 lakh was given to the hospitals
The Chief Minister said that like the ration card, the pension of the elderly is also being made automatic. “In this village, pension has been made for 22 elderly. The government has also organized Antyodaya fairs under the Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana, in which loans are made available to eligible families for self-employment. Loans have been provided to 17 families in this village also,” he said. Apart from this, 4,000 new Ayushman cards have been made in this village.
Sh. Manohar Lal said that in the last 8 years, about one lakh government jobs have been given to the youth. He said that more than 10,000 jobs have been provided in Bhiwani district and more than 40 jobs have been given to the youth in Kharak Kalan village itself.
During the programme, a citizen demanded the construction of a railway station in Kharak Kalan village, on which the Chief Minister informed that the local MP has already written a letter to the Ministry of Railways and besides this, he will also write to the Ministry of Railways in this regard.
Farmers should adopt micro irrigation
The Chief Minister called upon the farmers to cultivate alternative crops instead of paddy and adopt micro-irrigation. He said that the ground water level is continuously depleting in Haryana and the first priority of the government is to meet the need of drinking water and after that water is made available for irrigation.
He said that the state government is installing RTDAS machines on the canals, to keep a complete record of water coming at the source and water going to the distributary. So far, 150 such machines have been installed. In addition, 200 water treatment plants and STPs have been installed for water reuse and about 700 cusecs of water is being reused, he added.
Haryana first state where women been given 50 percent representation in panchayats
The Chief Minister said that Haryana is the first state in the country which has given 50 percent representation to women in Panchayati Raj Institutions. Not only this, Haryana is also the first state to have an educated panchayat. He said that it is the effort of the state government to make the lives of the citizens happy and prosperous.
Jan Samvad programme held in typical rural background
The Jan Samvad programme was unique in itself and was seen in a different way. Touching the typical Haryanvi background, the Chief Minister interacted with the villagers while sitting on cots and stools. The villagers also appreciated the same and said that it shows the love and affection of the Chief Minister towards the citizens.
Before the programme, the Chief Minister paid obeisance at Dadi Sati Jaabde temple located in the village and wished for the welfare of the people of the state. After this, the Chief Minister also visited the Dera Nath sect Baba Ranpat Maandhata.
On the occasion, MP, Sh: Brijendra Singh, MLA Sh. Bishamber Valmiki, OSD to Chief Minister, Sh. Jawahar Yadav, sarpanches of various villages and a large number of villagers were present.
