Chandigarh, April 13 - Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, while addressing the gathering during Jan Samvad Programme held at Banchari village accorded approval to a proposal regarding the upgradation of Dhadka village school upto 12th standard. Besides this, he also announced that Sanskriti Model School will be opened in Lohana village.

The Chief Minister assured the villagers that the drinking water problem in Banchari village will be resolved under the Ranney well scheme and an amount of about 200 crore rupees will be spent on this scheme. Clean drinking water will also be available to the villages of this area under the said scheme, said Sh. Manohar Lal.

The Chief Minister also approved the construction of a community centre in the village and three roads from Banchari to Hodal Minor.

The Chief Minister said that while ensuring ‘health for all’, the government has provided free treatment facilities up to Rs 5 lakh to every poor family under Ayushman Yojana. In this village also 5171 Ayushman cards have been made and two beneficiaries have taken advantage of this scheme.

He further informed that now eligible people are getting all kinds of facilities sitting at home through Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP). Automatic ration cards are being made. About 609 new ration cards have been made in this village. Not only this, an automatic pension has been made for 10 elderly of this village. He said that 48 youths have got jobs on a merit basis in this village, said Sh. Manohar Lal.

The Chief Minister said that Pond Authority has been constituted for the renovation of ponds in the state. Under this, renovation of dirty water ponds, overflow ponds etc. is being done, so that treated water can be used for irrigation and other works. Renovation and beautification of the pond will also be done in this village, informed Sh. Manohar Lal.

The Chief Minister said that the government has made PPP to give benefits of government schemes to poor and needy people. Through PPP now the government has a real-time database of every family in the State and as per this data, special schemes are being formulated to provide education, health, security and employment opportunities to the members of every family.

He said that the grant given to the Panchayats is allocated according to the population size. Therefore, if the PPP ID of any family has not been made in this village, then they should get it made immediately.

MLA, Sh. Jagdish Nayar, OSD to Chief Minister, Sh. Jawahar Yadav, Media Advisor to Chief Minister, Sh. Amit Arya and other dignitaries and senior officers also remained present on the occasion.
