Chandigarh, April 25: The representatives of two companies today handed over cheques worth Rs 4.61 crore to Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal in Gurugram today. The Chief Minister said that the amount received by the Haryana CSR Trust would be used for the renovation of ponds and opening of libraries in the state.

The Chief Minister was given a cheque of Rs 4 crore by the representatives of Indus Tower Private Limited and Rs 61.06 lakh by Pernod Ricard India. Sh. Manohar Lal gave instructions regarding the proper utilization of this amount received by the Haryana CSR Trust. On the occasion, vice president, CSR Trust, Bodh Raj Sikri and Additional CEO, Gaurav Singh were also present.
