Chandigarh, May 25– Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the state government is working tirelessly to realize the dreams of the underprivileged and needy of getting a house. In this regard, the process of constructing one lakh new residences will begin shortly in the next phase of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana said Sh. Manohar Lal while addressing a Jan Samvad programme organized at Mandlana village in Mahendragarh district on Thursday.

The Chief Minister said that the government will grant financial assistance to cooperative societies ready to provide shelter to destitute cattle by constructing Gaushalas. A provision has been made for providing financial help and fodder arrangements for the construction of a shed and boundary wall in the gaushalas constructed on Panchayati land.

The Chief Minister said that due to the PPP data, eight beneficiaries of this village have received automated pension and ration card benefits.

“In the last three months, I have spoken to 1.68 lakh beneficiaries of central and state schemes via audio conferencing, and the recipients have stated that they are receiving all of the benefits while sitting at home,” shared Sh. Manohar Lal.

With the setting up of the logistic hub and IMT, employment opportunities will get a major boost

The Chief Minister, while sharing details about two significant projects related to the infrastructure development of Mahendragarh district, stated that the Logistics Hub and IMT in village Khudana will provide ample job opportunities in the area. 

He also mentioned meeting the demand for improvement of the stadium made by the villagers of Mandlana village.

The Chief Minister stated that mapping of the sports infrastructure is being done by the Sports and Youth Affairs Department so that the infrastructure can be enhanced based on the popularity of district-specific sports. He also stated that 15 sports nurseries had been established in the Mahendragarh district.

Feeder-wise monitoring of power supply through the online system

While speaking on a topic related to power supply, the Chief Minister stated that an online system is being developed that would monitor the real-time delivery of power, feeder by feeder.

The Chief Minister asked the villagers about e-tendering in the Gram Panchayats, and the people who attended the programme raised their hands in favour of a corruption-free and transparent system. He shared that under the Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana, 550 melas have been organized in the state to make the poor and needy self-reliant.
