Chandigarh, May 26- While expanding the health services in village Nangal Sirohi, the Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal announced to shift the CHC running in the old building of the PHC in a new building so that the people of the area could get better health services.
The Chief Minister was addressing the Jan Samvad programme in village Nangal Sirohi, Mahendragarh district today. Former Minister, Sh. Ram Bilas Sharma greeted the Chief Minister by presenting him with a traditional turban on his arrival in Mahendragarh assembly constituency.
The Chief Minister said that Nangal Sirohi is the land of heroes and on behalf of the Haryana government, he salutes the brave sons of this land who made supreme sacrifices.
He said that through the Ayushman Chirayu Yojana, free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh was being given to families with an annual income of up to Rs 1.80 lakh. In Nangal Sirohi, 82 needy beneficiaries have taken health benefits under this scheme, which has helped them a total of Rs 8.5 lakh.
In next 4 months, recruitment on 65000 vacancies will be done, CM
The Chief Minister said that the state government is providing employment opportunities to the educated youth in a transparent manner and meti basis. So far, 1.4 lakh eligible youths have been given employment on the basis of merit by the government and in the next 4 months, government plans to fill 65,000 vacancies in Group C and D.
Sh. Manohar Lal further informed that youth in Haryana are being imparted education focused on vocational and skill development.
Road from Mahendragarh to Bucholi road will be renovated
Fulfilling the demand raised by the village Sarpanch, the Chief Minister said that the road from Mahendergarh to Bucholi will be renovated from the existing 9 feet to 18 feet wide, for which an amount of Rs 1 crore 57 lakh will be spent.
CM felicitates eligible beneficiaries of various schemes
During the programme, the Chief Minister congratulated and felicitated the beneficiaries of Mukhyamantri Vivah Shagun Yojana as well as those getting an automated pension scheme. He also felicitated meritorious students who excelled in board examinations.
He also gave cards to the eligible beneficiaries of Chirayu Haryana and apprised them about the purpose of the scheme. On the other hand, calling the children born on May 26 on the stage, congratulated them on their birthday and blessed them.
Distributing wheelchairs and artificial limbs to the PwDs during the programme, the Chief Minister assured that all possible cooperation from the government will be given.
CM inspected Bhalkhi Waterworks
Before Jan Samvad programme, the Chief Minister inspected the waterworks in Bhalkhi village and gave necessary directions to the officers of the concerned department.
He said that providing clean drinking water supply to the common man is the topmost priority of the government. With a project of 100 crores in Bhalkhi, a permanent solution is being provided for drinking water supply in the surrounding villages.
The Chief Minister said that in order to provide uninterrupted water supply during the summer season, new waterworks are being constructed across the state.
He directed the officers of the Public Health Engineering Department to ensure that drinking water supply is provided to the citizens as per their requirement.
Sh. Manohar Lal took information about the capacity of the waterworks from the officers and also inspected the water tank.
Public Health Engineering Minister, Dr. Banwari Lal, MP, Sh. Dharmbir Singh, OSD to Chief Minister, Sh. Jawahar Yadav, Deputy Commissioner, Ms. Monika Gupta and SP, Sh. Vikrant Bhushan also remained present on this occasion.
