Chandigarh, June 12- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the government has formulated various welfare policies to make life easier for the people of the state. He said that the government is determined to eradicate corruption. “People are getting direct benefits of the schemes in our government. Now the assistance amount goes directly to the beneficiary's account whereas earlier the amount used to disappear on the way to reach the beneficiary,” he added.

The Chief Minister was addressing the people during the Jan Samvad programme organized at Karnal’s Ward No. 16 today.

Primary school soon at Kodi colony

On a demand related to a school, the Chief Minister announced to open a primary school in Karnal’s Kodi colony, work on which will start soon.

 Meanwhile, on a complaint of a local regarding the cancellation of ration card, it was found that the ration card was cancelled because the person had filed income tax return for taking a loan. On this, the Chief Minister said that in case someone has not filed the return in the last two years, then the income shown in the return for the ration card will not be considered. “Those who have filed income tax return, it has affected their ration cards,” he added.

Every problem related to property ID will be resolved

The Chief Minister said that every grievance related to property ID will be resolved for which special camps are being organized.

Families with annual income up to Rs 3 lakhs will also be given benefit of CHIRAYU Yojana

The Chief Minister said that the state government is giving the benefit of health insurance up to Rs 5 lakh to the families with an annual income of Rs 1.80 lakh. “The government is also considering to include the families in this scheme whose annual income is between Rs 1.80 lakh and Rs 3 lakh; by taking some premium amount to give them a benefit of up to Rs 5 lakh,” he added.

He said that after the implementation of Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP), 12.5 lakh new BPL ration cards have been made in the state.

Meanwhile, the people appreciated the merit based job system started by the present government, stating that it has brought transperancy against the earlier ‘parchi-kharchi’ system.

Every complaint received in Jan Samvad programme will be taken into consideration

Sh. Manohar Lal said that action will be taken on all the complaints received during the Jan Samvad programmes. All the complaints will be sent online to the concerned departments, which will have to be resolved by the concerned officer within the prescribed time period, he said.

The Chief Minister said that the people of the state are getting benefits due to the implementation of the Right to Service Act. He said that if the work is not done within the prescribed time period, the related complaint goes to auto appeal. In case of no response within the stipulated time period, the matter goes to the Commission and action is taken against the negligent officer.
