Chandigarh, June 18 – Union Home and Cooperation Minister, Sh. Amit Shah today patted Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal for giving corruption-free governance to the people in the state.

Taking a jibe at the previous government, Sh. Amit Shah said that the previous congress government in the state was a ‘3 D Sarkar’, the government of Darbar, Damaad and Dealer. Sh. Manohar Lal has ended this 3D system, said Sh. Amit Shah while addressing the gathering at the Gauravshali Bharat rally organized in Sirsa district today.

The Union Home Minister said that people should not forget India before 2014 when scams and corruption worth 12 lakh crores were committed by the Congress party. Contrary to this, under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, transparent governance has been made available to the people in the last 9 years.

He said that from the year 2004 to 2014 when Congress was in power in the Center as well as in the state only Rs 40,000 crore was given to Haryana as devolution and grant-in-aid, while Sh. Narendra Modi has increased this amount to Rs 1.30 lakh crore.

Sh. Amit Shah said that contrary to the claims of Congress regarding farmers’ welfare, the Centre government, under the leadership of Sh. Narendra Modi has bought more paddy and wheat as compared to what was bought during the 10 years of the Congress.

From the year 2014 to 2022, 260 lakh metric tonnes of wheat and 385 lakh metric tonnes of paddy have been procured. Rs. 47,000 crore has been transferred directly into the bank accounts of the farmers through DBT.  Every year, an amount of Rs. 6000 is transferred directly into the bank account of the farmers under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, said the Union Minister. 

He said that the Congress government neither ever provided financial assistance of Rs. 6,000 directly to the farmers', nor did they think of making the farmers aware of the benefits of crop diversification. However, Manohar Lal-led government came up with the Bhavantar Bharpayee Yojana and encouraged the farmers to adopt crop diversification.

Earlier the Chief Minister was only of Rohtak, while Manohar Lal is the Chief Minister of the entire Haryana

Sh. Amit Shah said that earlier the development works were limited to Rothak only but Manohar Lal has ensured the holistic development of the state. the present state government in Haryana has ensured the implementation of all the schemes of the central government at grass root levels.

While describing Haryana as the land of sportspersons, he said that in every National and International tournament, the players of the state shine bright by winning the maximum number of medals.  The Union Home Minister said that the Manohar Lal-led government has implemented several schemes for sportspersons in the last about nine years.

In the last 9 years, all-round development has been ensured in Haryana, from 2015 to 2022, the state's growth rate was more than 6 percent

The Union Home Minister said that in the last about 9 years, Haryana has become the largest basmati rice exporting state in the country. It has also become the first kerosene Free State in the country and the first state to have educated Panchayats. The growth rate of Haryana from the year 2015 to 2022 has been more than 6 percent. The double-engine government of Modi and Manohar left no stone unturned in ensuring the holistic development of Haryana, said Sh. Shah.

He said that since 2019, the state has received foreign investment worth $5.22 billion. 400 Fortune companies have their offices in Gurugram. 50 percent of the vehicles are made in Haryana. Our government constructed new national highways having a cumulative length of 1400 kilometres. 17 new National Highways declared for Haryana, said the Union Home Minister.

He further said that there is a plan to develop an economic corridor at a cost of Rs. 20,000 crore. Gurugram Palwal Expressway passing through Nuh districts at a cost of Rs 12,150 crore has been constructed in Haryana.

He said that 20 lakh farmers are getting Rs 6000 every year. Under the Jal Jeevan Mission, tap water has reached 30 lakh households in the state. 82 lakh people are getting the benefit of the Ayushman Bharat scheme. More than 75,000 houses have been built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana; said Sh. Amit Shah.

He said that the Prime Minister has set a target to make India drug-free. This campaign has also started in Haryana. He said that May 5, 2019 was a historic day for the people of the country when Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi had abrogated Article 35-A from Jammu and Kashmir.

Several new development works executed in Sirsa

The Union Home Minister said that several new development works have been completed in the Sirsa district during the tenure of the present state government. Insurance claims of Rs 1513 crore have been given to the farmers. President Smt. Droupadi Murmu laid the foundation stone of the Medical College to be built on 22 acres of land at a cost of Rs. 1000 crore. Mega Food Parks are coming up in Sirsa.

On this occasion, the Union Home Minister appealed to the people of the state to give a massive mandate to BJP in the Lok Sabha elections-2024.

Whenever Union Home Minister visits Haryana, the pride of the State has always increased, CM

Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, while welcoming Union Home Minister, Sh. Amit Shah to Sirsa on behalf of the people of the State said that whenever he visits Haryana, the pride of the State has always increased. “It will not be incorrect to call Sh. Amit Shah an Iron Man as he has taken several bold decisions in the interest of the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi,” said Sh. Manohar Lal.

The Chief Minister said that during Khelo India held in the state, Sh. Amit Shah had lauded the sportsperson of the state by calling them Dhakad. Similarly, he had also described the Jawan (Soldier) and Kisan (Farmer) as Dhakad.

He further stated that India’s image has globally transformed under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi. Several welfare schemes have been launched by the Centre Government for the upliftment of the poor, needy and people belonging to the deprived sections of society.

The Chief Minister said that in the last about 9 years, the Haryana government has meticulously implemented all the schemes of the Central government. He said that rampant corruption was prevailing in the state during the tenure of previous governments. After taking over the reign of the administration in the state in the year 2014, the present state government not only rooted out corruption at all levels but also provided fair and transparent governance to the people of the state,” said Sh. Manohar Lal.

The Chief Minister said while following the Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi’s pledge 'Na khaunga, na khane dunga', the present state government has left no stone unturned to end corruption in the state. 

“For the upliftment of the poor, welfare schemes have been implemented with the spirit of Antyodaya so as to ensure that the benefit reaches the beneficiaries standing last in the queue. By implementing PPP, the state government has given the benefits of government schemes to every poor at their doorstep,” said Sh. Manohar Lal.

The Chief Minister assured Sh. Amit Shah that this time also lotus will bloom on all 10 seats in Haryana in the Lok Sabha elections to be held in 2024 adding that a strong government will be formed at the Centre for the consecutive third time, said Sh. Manohar Lal.
