Chandigarh July 2 - Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the government is considering starting a pension scheme for the aged unmarried men and women in the age group of 45 to 60 years. The government will take a decision regarding the formation of this scheme within about a month, said Sh. Manohar Lal while addressing a Jan Samvad programme held at Kalampura village in Karnal today. Earlier, the Chief Minister also planted saplings in the premises of the community centre of village Kalampura.
During the Jan Samvad, a 60-year-old unmarried old man raised a complaint related to pension being placed before the Chief Minister, responding to which the Chief Minister shared that the government is planning to introduce the above-said scheme.
CM announces Sanskriti Model School for Kalampura
Sh. Manohar Lal announced the construction of the Sanskriti Model School in the village of Kalampura. Along with this, he also directed the officers concerned to construct a new building for the government school and to construct the road from Kachhwa to Kalampura within the next two months. Apart from this, along with constructing a volleyball playground in the government school, Sh. Manohar Lal also announced the renovation of the pond. Besides this, he also assured that all the demands placed by the Sarpanch will be fulfilled.
The Chief Minister said that an amount of Rs 6.50 crore has been spent by the government on the development of village Kalampura and the construction of the community centre will also be completed soon.
Internet service will be made available in all villages of Karnal
The Chief Minister also directed the Deputy Commissioner to provide internet services in all the villages of Karnal by holding talks with the BSNL. He said that in today's time, 70 to 80 percent of work is done online and that's why it is necessary to have internet service in the village. Karnal will be the first district where BSNL internet service will be available in every village, said Sh. Manohar Lal.
Meanwhile, while responding regarding the demand of opening a bank in village Kalampura, the Chief Minister said that in the village which does not have a cooperative bank branch, banking services of other banks should also be made available on mobiles.
Sh. Manohar Lal said that to solve the problems of every citizen of the state, he himself is reaching out to the people through these Samvad programmes. Those who raise their concerns in these programmes, the concerned person will be given feedback through telephone or SMS. Till now, the Samvad has been conducted in 5 districts since April 2 and the next series of Samvad will be started in the state from July 15, shared the Chief Minister.
He said that the government is solving the problems of the people by visiting their doorsteps. In previous governments, people had to make several rounds of the offices of CM, Minister and MLAs.
“Our government has done the work of providing all facilities to the people while sitting at home through a transparent and online system,” said Sh. Manohar Lal.
Sh. Manohar Lal said that the government has done the work of giving ownership rights to 5 lakh shopkeepers in the cities. He said that the government is constantly making efforts to provide employment to the youth. The government on one hand has given temporary jobs through the Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam, while on the other self-employment opportunities have been made available to 50,000 people by providing loans under the Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana, said the Chief Minister.
“The aim of the government is to provide loans to 1 lakh people through this scheme and give them ample employment opportunities. Apart from this, to empower women, financial assistance is being provided to the self-help groups”, asserted Sh. Manohar Lal.
