Chandigarh, August 9: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal by organizing a series of Samvad at his residence in Chandigarh has taken a unique initiative to bring people’s representatives from each Lok Sabha constituency, eminent citizens, and senior officers on a single platform. In these meetings, the elected representatives from each assembly constituency not only get information from the senior officers about the development works but also get a golden opportunity to raise the demands placed by the constituency people directly before the Chief Minister.

Continuing the same, Sh. Manohar Lal today held a meeting with the representatives and eminent citizens from the Kurukshetra Lok Sabha constituency at Sant Kabir Kutir and asked them to freely share their grievances and demands before him and the officers. He also asked them to share written information about the future roadmap. The officers at the CMO will keep a complete record of these documents and forward them to the concerned departments.

The Chief Minister said that the purpose of this meeting is to have clean and transparent administration and speedy development work. He said that earlier people had doubts that the representation sent from the field to the Chandigarh headquarters are only recorded in files and no action is taken on them. However, breaking this stereotype, Sh. Manohar Lal has started organizing Samvad at his residence in Chandigarh to bridge the gap between the administration and the public.

While sharing his experience about the meeting with the officers, Dr. Ganesh Dutt from Ladwa apprised the Chief Minister that the meeting was held in a very enthusiastic and energetic manner and the officers had given him complete assurance regarding the work that they had demanded will be completed on a priority basis.

The eminent citizens said that the initiative of direct interaction started by the Chief Minister has certainly speeded up the development work along with promptly addressing the grievances.

So far, the Chief Minister has covered 8 Lok Sabha constituencies, in which Kurukshetra was the 9th Lok Sabha constituency today. By organizing such interactions, Sh. Manohar Lal not only has been actively engaging with the public but has also been successfully addressing their concerns and taking feedback directly from the ground. This approach of the Chief Minister is certainly playing a key even for the officers to understand the needs and issues of different constituencies.

By covering multiple Lok Sabha constituencies and assembly constituencies, the Chief Minister is creating a platform for public representatives, intellectuals, and citizens to communicate their problems, suggestions, and ideas. This direct interaction has not only created better governance and policy decisions but has also increased transparency and accountability. Meanwhile, next week, the Chief Minister will interact with the public representatives and eminent citizens of Sirsa Lok Sabha constituency.
