Chandigarh, Sept 8 - Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal called upon the Sarpanches to get the development works done in their villages by utilizing the funds released to the Panchayats for developmental purposes and also to vigilantly monitor against corruption. He emphasized that Gram Panchayats would also have to take responsibility for maintaining government-initiated rural development projects.

The Chief Minister was speaking during a Jan Samvad held in Narnaund in district Hisar. He also responded positively to all significant demands presented by Sarpanches from various villages.

Engaging directly with the people, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the present state government is committed to fostering inclusive development and transparency across various sectors.

In a spirit of development and progress, the Chief Minister announced the allocation of approximately 1.25 acres of land near the SDM office in Narnaund for the court complex. Apart from this, he said that the process of enhancing the road infrastructure between Narnaund and Jind is now underway, with a tender valued at Rs 13.65 crore issued, and construction work slated to commence shortly.

While, in a move that promises to enhance agricultural prospects, the Chief Minister also approved the construction of an irrigation canal in villages Bhadha Kheda, Sautha, and Panihari village. He also approved the development of school buildings in village Mouth Karnail and village Dharam Khedi, enhancing educational facilities for local communities.

Sh. Manohar Lal also sanctioned projects for drainage infrastructure and the construction of four walls and a children's playground in village Mohla. He also approved the construction of new roads connecting village Bans to Bhaklana village, Thurana to Badala, Sisar to Bhatol village, and the Narnaul to Kheri Jalab road in Hisar, spanning 3 km within the urban area of Jind-Hansi road.

In addition to these infrastructure projects, he also sanctioned the construction of 6 Chaupals, with all Chaupals will be completed within the next three to four months.

A review of the Anganwadi centers in the Narnaund area will be conducted in one month- CM

The Chief Minister said that the state government continuously working to eliminate corruption from its roots and the common man will also have to play his role in this work.  Emphasising the importance of ensuring the proper distribution of ration to eligible children, he warned that any complaints regarding ration distribution would lead to action against the responsible officials and employees. Anganwadi centers in the Narnaund area would undergo a thorough inspection one month from now, he added.

He said that the 2.80 crore people of the state are his  family members and he consistently stands by their side. He highlighted that as part of the Chief Minister Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana, efforts have been made to create employment opportunities for eligible families through PPP. To date, these initiatives have led to the provision of loans for self-employment to 50,000 individuals through four fairs held in each block. Furthermore, the Department of Foreign Cooperation is actively facilitating passport and visa services for young individuals aspiring to study abroad. In addition to prioritizing education, the government is committed to continuously working towards offering employment prospects to the youth in foreign countries.

Highlighting the government’s resolve to conduct transparent job recruitments under Mission Merit, the Chief Minister reaffirmed the elimination of dubious practices, ensuring that job appointments are strictly based on merit.

Ayushman Yojana becoming a boon for needy

The Chief Minister said that the Ayushman Yojana has become a boon for beneficiaries in getting hassle-free medical assistance. He informed that over Rs 850 crore has already been allocated to healthcare under this initiative. Furthermore, families with an annual income ranging from Rs 1.80 lakh to Rs 3 lakh can avail themselves of this scheme by contributing an annual deposit of Rs 1,500.

MP, Sh. Brijendra Singh, MLA Sh. Ram Kumar Gautam, former Finance Minister Captain Abhimanyu and other dignitaries were also present on this occasion.
