Chandigarh November 2 - Union Home and Cooperation Minister Sh. Amit Shah commended Haryana Chief Minister Sh Manohar Lal for his dedicated service to the public over the past 9 years, emphasizing the spirit of Antodaya. He noted the eradication of corruption, nepotism, and regional politics in Haryana during this period. The Union Government has allocated an impressive sum of Rs 1,32,000 crore to Haryana in the last 9 years for development, in contrary to merely Rs 40,000 crore provided during the previous Congress 10 years rule.
Sh Amit Shah was addressing a massive crowd at the Antodaya Mahasammelan at city of Danveer Karna Karnal, marking the 58th anniversary of Haryana's formation. Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal also present in the Mahasammelan.
The Union Minster also paid tribute to the sacred land of Haryana, highlighting its role as the land of farmers and soldiers, where farmers contribute significantly to the nation's grain supply, while soldiers protect our borders.
Taking a dig at the Congress party, Sh. Amit Shah said that Congress party kept the construction of Ram Mandir pending for so many years during its tenure. He lauded the people of Haryana for supporting the BJP and Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi, enabling the upcoming inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22, 2024. He also urged the people to take benefit of the Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Scheme initiated by Haryana government today and witness this grand event.
Sh. Amit Shah stressed that the BJP government, both at the national and state level, has been committed to propelling the country and Haryana toward development over the past 9 years. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has dedicated numerous development projects to the nation, including the establishment of 7 IITs, 7 IIMs, 15 AIIMS, 700 medical colleges, and 54000 kilometers of national highways within this period. Similarly, in Haryana, Chief Minister Sh Manohar Lal has given numerous developmeental projects to the state incuding the establishment of 77 new colleges, 13 universities, 8 medical colleges, 2 new airports, 16 hospitals, and an extensive network of over 28,000 kilometers of new roads. How much development happens, Congress Party should turn each page of the double engine government of Narendra Modi and Manohar Lal, he asserted.

Manohar Lal, including the eradication of corruption and the maintenance of law and order in the state.
He said that the Congress party is incapable of driving the development of Haryana and the country, and that the nation was not secure during their tenure. Amit Shah praised Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi for modernizing the nation's security forces, equipping the forces with modern infrastructure and fulfilling the long-standing demand for One Rank One Pension for soldiers. He also mentioned the revocation of Article 370 and 35A in Jammu and Kashmir on August 5, 2019 by the BJP government, and the swift response to the Pulwama attack through surgical strikes in Pakistan within 10 days.
