- Chandigarh, July 3 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal said that the girls of the State have been excelling in every field and brining laurels to their families and the state.
- The Chief Minister was interacting with the first runner up of FBB Colors Femina Miss India 2018, Ms. Meenakshi Chaudhary of Panchkula today called on him, here today.
- Mr. Manohar Lal said that the state, which was earlier defamed for its poor sex ratio, is now known for improved and balanced sex ratio as a result of the efforts made by the present State Government in last three years. He said that there is no lack of talent in girls of Haryana and the girls have earned name in every field. He said that the girls of Haryana have also performed well in the recently held IAS examination. The girls are moving forward in all fields and will continue to move so on. Whatever obstacles they will face in their path, the State Government would make concerted efforts to remove them, he added.
