- Chandigarh, May 31--The Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal, called on Mr B.K.N Chhibber, former Governor of Punjab, and former judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Mr Justice (Retired) Mr. A.N. Jindal, at their residences in Panchkula today, under the Special Contact Campaign initiated on the completion of four years of Narendra Modi Government.
- The Chief Minister presented Mr Chhibber and Mr Jindal with the achievement letter of BJP on Saaf Neeyat-Sahi Vikas. The Modi Government is committed to providing benefits of its schemes to all needy in the society. “We are constantly making efforts and getting the support of common people,” he added.
- The BJP is gearing up to get connected to 2,000 intellectuals in Haryana under the campaign and update them on information regarding the schemes of the Central and the state government.
- The Chief Minister also held discussion with Mr Chhibber to bring out the difference between the working of the present and the former government. Besides development, the BJP Government is focusing on bringing about changes in the system. Bigger decisions like strictness on corruption, jobs on the basis of merit, transparency in transfer policy have injected major reforms in the state, he added
- Mr Jindal said, "Aapki imandari ka main kayal hun. Benefits of schemes are reaching the common man without any obstruction, and this is exactly what was needed.”
- Those present included, MLA, Mr Gian Chand Gupta, and Media Advisor to Chief Minister, Mr Rajiv Jain.
