  • Chandigarh, Mar 3–Buoyed by the success and state-wide acceptance of its online Teachers Transfer Policy, the Haryana Government has decided to extend it to eight more departments having 500 and more state cadre posts. 
  • These eight departments would upload draft of the online transfer policy for their respective employees on their websites by next week to invite suggestions. The Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal, would launch their online transfer policy on April 15, 2018.Till then, ban has been imposed on all transfers in these departments which would be made online only after April 15.
  • A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of Administrative Secretaries and Heads of Department of these eight departments held under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister, here today.
  • Mr Manohar Lal directed Additional Chief Secretaries and Principal Secretaries of departments with 500 and more state cadre posts to invite suggestions from employees, MLAs, and MPs on the draft of the online transfer policy. 
  • He directed the officers to send copies of the online transfer policy to all 90 MLAs, 10 MPs and five Members of the Rajya Sabha. While transferring an employee, preference would be given according to the marks obtained by him in the Annual Confidential Report.
  • Others present at the meeting included the Transport Minister, Mr. Krishan Lal Panwar, Additional Chief Secretaries of Jail, Public Works (Buildings and Roads) and Transport Departments, Principal Secretaries of Forests, Public Health Engineering, Irrigation and Water Resources and Development, and Panchayat Departments, and Director of Industrial Training Department.
