  • Chandigarh, August 27: Haryana Health Minister, Mr Anil Vij said that the work of setting up first of its kind Shri Krishna Ayush University is in full swing and Rs. 2.98 crore has already been sanctioned for its boundary wall.
  • Mr Vij said that instructions have been given to start the construction of the University and develop infrastructure as soon as possible.   He said that this educational institution would be the perfect combination of modernity and antiquity which would provide education in all the faculties under Ayush. It would also provide Post-Graduation in Aayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Sidhha and Homeopathy to make the youth of Haryana to be aware about their ancient and alternate medical system.
  • Vice Chancellor of University, Prof. Baldev Kumar said that the University is being set up in 100 acres of land in Fattupur village of Kurukshetra. The construction work of this University would soon be started after completing all the necessary formalities, he added.
