- Chandigarh, August 28– Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal will preside over the first meeting of Inter-District Council to be held on August 30, 2018 at 10 am at Kisan Bhawan, Panchkula. The meeting would be attended by Ministers, officers and representatives of Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs).
- While giving this information today, an official spokesman said that during the meeting, the representatives of PRIs would be provided with tips on financial management. The Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal would also seek their suggestions and feedback so as to further accelerate the pace of development all over the state, he added
- Inter-District Council was constituted under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal, while its permanent members included Finance Minister, Capt. Abhimanyu, Development and Panchayat Minister, Mr O.P. Dhankar and Urban Local Bodies Minister, Mrs Kavita Jain, all Presidents of Zila Parishads, all Mayors of Municipal Corporations and all Presidents of Municipal Councils or Committees at the District Headquarters, he added.
