- Chandigarh, Sept 2 – Special Task Force (STF) of Haryana Police have arrested two motorcycle borne youth from near village Mahlana in Sonipat. STF sleuths also recovered two-country made pistols and seven live cartridges from them.
- While stating this here today, a spokesman of Police Department said that accused arrested were identified as Karambir alias Nanha, a resident of Bhatgaon and Ashish alias Ashu of Chatia Aulia. Both were arrested from near dharamshala in Mahlana following a tip-off from an informer.
- He said that when police signaled them to stop for checking, they tried to flee after opening fire at the police team but did not manage to escape. Police nabbed both and seized illicit weapons from them.
- During interrogation, both confessed to have committed loot and robbery like including cash, Bajaj platina motorcycle, Activa and two TVS Apachey motorcycle from Gurugram, Narela and Sonipat area.
