- Chandigarh, September 4 : With a view to facilitate and empower women, Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has accorded approval for setting up Saudamini Centre Siwah in district Panipat at an estimated cost of Rs. 3.45 crore.
- While giving details, an official spokesperson said that the multi service resource centre would be set up in Rajiv Gandhi Khel Parisar Siwah which would hold training programmes for skill development and empowerment of rural women. It would also have a library, fitness center and computer centre. The centre would be run in co-ordination with Sports and Technical Education Department of the State.
