- Chandigarh, Sept 10 – The Haryana Vidhan Sabha passed two bills in the ongoing session, here today. These included YMCA University of Science and Technology, Faridabad (Amendment) Bills, 2018 and the Haryana Vishwakarma Skill University (Amendment) Bills, 2018.
- The YMCA University of Science and Technology, Faridabad (Amendment) Bills, 2018 has been passed to change the name of the YMCA University to J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad. Similarly, the Haryana Vishwakarma Skill University (Amendment) Bills, 2018 has been passed to change the name of the University to Shri Vishwakarma Skill University, Haryana.
