  • Chandigarh, Sept 11 – Haryana Public Works (Building and Roads) Minister, Rao Narbir Singh today announced that any member of the House can raise the complaints or demands pertaining to roads in their assembly constituencies with him anytime even outside the Vidhan Sabha. As far as possible, the requirement of roads would be fulfilled.
  • Rao Narbir Singh made this announcement while replying to a question raised by MLA, Mr. Kamal Gupta regarding construction of RoB and RuB on two railway lines near Surya Nagar in Hisar, in the ongoing session of Haryana Vidhan Sabha, here today.
  • The Minister informed the house that this matter of two railway lines in Surya Nagar, Hisar was lying pending from last 30 years. He said that as a result of the efforts of the Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal, it has been brought under the National Capital Region Planning Board and the State Government has provided Rs 60 crore for it. The estimates were prepared of removing electricity poles and pipelines of Public Health Engineering and tenders were floated. The Detailed Project Report was being prepared and the bridge would be got completed within next nine months.
  • He also informed the house that this would be first such bridge of Haryana which would have underpass along with RoB and RuB.
