- Chandigarh, Sept 16 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal said that the poems of the former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna, Late. Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee would always remain inspirational for everyone. A prominent leader, Mr. Vajpayee would always be loved and remembered by leaders of all political parties.
- The Chief Minister was speaking during ‘Ek Sham Atal Ji Ke Naam’ Trilingual Akhil Bhartiya Mushaira and Seminar organized on the occasion of 32nd foundation day of Haryana Urdu Akademi, at Panipat today.
- The Chief Minister said that today’s function has been organized in the memory of Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee exactly after one month of his demise on August 16, 2018. This function, in his memory, is not only being organized in Panipat, but in the entire country.
- He said that the life of Mr. Vajpayee was full of patriotism. He remained fearless during his entire life and he never feared death. He became Prime Minister of India for three times. He was not only a person, but an institution in himself.
- On this occasion, the Chief Minister also honoured eminent poets and released a brochure in the memory of Late. Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
- Director, Haryana Urdu Akadmi, Dr. Narender Kumar Upmanyu also spoke on this occasion. He also donated his salary for the year 2017 amounting to around Rs 1.14 lakh in the form of a cheque towards Chief Minister Relief Fund.
- Others present on the occasion included Transport Minister, Mr. Krishan Lal Panwar, MLAs namely Mrs. Rohita Rewri and Mr. Mahipal Dhanda and other dignitaries
