  • Chandigarh, Sept 26 – Haryana Government has emphasised on better co-ordination between securities agencies and Telecom Service Providers (TSPs) for national security and directed all TSPs operating in the state to adhere to the instructions issued by Department of Telecommunications regarding issuance of pre-paid mobile connections as connections issued on fake and forged documents are big challenge for securities agencies.
  • This was informed in a co-ordination meeting held under the chairmanship of Additional Director General of Police, CID, Mr. Anil Kumar Rao with the representatives of TSPs operating in Haryana, here today. Disaster Management Plans of TSPs in case of natural calamity or emergency were also discussed in the meeting.
  • Mr. Rao stressed upon all the participants the need for the service providers to provide full co-operation keeping in view the common interest, that is, for the security of the Nation.
  • All the TSPs assured that they will render their full co-operation on 24x7 basis to all the Law Enforcement Agencies of Haryana Police.
