- Chandigarh, September 25 – Haryana government has decided to provide government job of Group D to Mr Jaivir Singh, brother of martyr Satbir Singh on compassionate grounds by giving relaxation in the policy.
- A decision to this effect was taken in the meeting of State Cabinet held under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal here today.
- Sepoy Satbir Singh of village Dhani Harsukh in district Bhiwani laid down his life in Operation Rakshak, Jammu and Kashmir on November 23,2002.
