- Chandigarh, September 24- Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal said that the Power Utilities are consistently taking steps to recover from the losses and first time, the Utilities have earned a profit of Rs 38 crore in first quarter of current financial year 2018-19.
- While giving this information, an official spokesman said that by using Information Technology to the maximum, the Utilities have earned profit aligned with the vision of the Chief Minister. They have discontinued manual accounting system with effect from April 1, 2018 and switched over to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions.
- He said that the Utilities have successfully prepared its quarterly balance sheet (From April-June, 2018) in ERP, which has also brought transparency in the system. He said that this profit of Rs 38 crore would be utilised for creation of additional transmission infrastructure in the state.
