- Chandigarh, September 24 : Haryana Minister of State for Public Health and Engineering, Dr. Banwari Lal gave direction that the possession of Government land for illegal activities like Roti Bank etc. should be removed immediately. The Minister gave these directions during District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee meeting at mini secretariat in district Hisar today.
- Out of the total 16 cases, the Minister resolved 13 cases on the spot. In rest three cases he gave necessary directions to the concerned officers for their resolution.
- During the meeting, the matter of Future maker including Multi Level Marketing (MLM) was also discussed. Deputy Commissioner, Mr Ashok Kumar Meena informed that for investigating such cases, a committee has been constituted under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner(ADC), Mr Amarjit Singh Mann.
- Dr Banwari Lal appealed the people that those who have been victimized in such cases can give their complaints to the Additional Deputy Commissioner without any hesitation. In the matter of Future Maker, Deputy Commissioner Ashok Kumar Meena instructed the officers to seize every type of property made from the earned income of this company whether taken on some other name.
- Meanwhile, the Minister was apprised that some people have occupied the area for roti bank on the green belt in front of the old Government college and illegally kept cows on the government land in front of community centre, Patel Nagar. On this, the Minister said that all such illegal occupation should be removed with immediate effect. The Deputy Commissioner, Mr Ashok Kumar Meena said that instructions have been issued to the municipal corporation in this case. Soon, the campaign to catch the stray cattle in the city will be started and all such illegally possession on Government land would be removed.
- In a complaint about supply of dirty water by former Sarpanch of Gangwa, Amar Singh and other villagers, the Superintendent Engineer of Public Health Department apprised the Minister that samples of drinking water from Gangwa have been examined, according to which the water has been found fit for drinking. He showed the examining report to the Minister. On expressing dissatisfaction by the villagers, the Minister directed the officers to get the water samples once again examined in the presence of SDM, committee members and villagers.
