  • Chandigarh, October 7– Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal today inspected the preparation works for the forthcoming visit of Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi on October 9, 2018 for unveiling the statue of Deenbandhu Sir Chhotu Ram in Sampla, Rohtak.
  • The Chief Minister first inspected the site where the statue would be unveiled. He also issued necessary directions related to preparations. After this, he inspected the museum based on the life of Deenbandhu Sir Chhotu Ram. The Director General, Information, Public Relations and Languages Department, Mr Sameer Pal Srow gave detailed information about the museum to the Chief Minister.
  • The Chief Minister along with all leaders and officers inspected the stadium where programme would be held. The Chief Minister issued necessary directions, after inspecting the main stage, VVIP platform and front pandal. The Chief Minister also held discussions with other leaders and official on making the programme grand and also issued directions to the concerned officials.
  • Chandigarh, October 7– Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal said that in 2019 elections, the BJP party would form government both in Centre and the state, as the people are with the BJP party. The opposition parties are  now working hard  for the elections to be held  in 2024. The Chief Minister was interacting with media persons in Sampla, Rothay today. He said that the Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi will be reaching Sampla on October 9 to unveil the statue of Deenbandhu Sir Chhotu Ram. The contribution made by  Sir Chhotu Ram to the society cannot be forgotten and he is an inspiration for our future generations. He said that the unveiling ceremony of the statue would be a grand function for which all preparations have been completed. During the function, the Prime Minister would also visit the museum built in memory of Deenbandu Chhotu Ram and later would address a public meeting. He said that the Prime Minister would also lay the foundation stone of Rail Coach Factory to be built on 163 acres given by the state government in Barahi, Sonepat. This would be the first excellent project of railway in the state. In this Rail Coach Factory, along with new coach, beautification of old coaches would also be done.
  • Chandigarh, October 7– Haryana Minister of State for Health and Engineering, Dr. Banwari Lal said that Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi would unveil 64-Feet tall statue of Deenbandhu  Chhotu Ram, messiah of farmers, on October 9, 2018 at  Sampla in Rohtak. Apart from this, he will also lay the foundation stone of the Rail Coach Factory to be built in Barhi area of Sonepat district. After the unveiling ceremony of the statue, the Prime Minister would also address the Deenbandhu Smriti Rally.
  • Dr Banwari Lal was addressing the people in Rewari district today.
  • The Minister also invited the villagers to be part of ceremony. He also inaugurated a newly constructed road in Bithwana village and announced to release Rs 12 lakh for the developments works in Bithwana village.
  • He said during the ceremony, the Prime Minister would also go round the museum based on the life of Sir Chhotu Ram, where scenes depicting his life and items related to him have been collected.  Unveiling of statue of Deehbandhu Chhotu Ram is the honor to all the farmers of the country, he added.
  • He said that the recipient of Padma Bhushan, Ram Vanji Sutar, has sculpted this 64-ft tall statue. As many as 5,500 farmers of the state donated from half kg to 2 kg iron metal for the construction of this statue. The people have even donated things related to Sir Chhotu Ram for the museum, he added.
  • Chandigarh, October 7– Jashan-e-Musahiara programme, ‘Ek Sham Atal Ji ke Naam’ was held at Government Women College in District Jind, where the poets recited shero-shayari   full of  spirit of national unity. Women poets also enthralled the audience with their shayari and poem recitation.
  • This programme was orgainsed on the 32nd Foundation Day ceremony of Haryana Urdu Academy in Jind.
  • The Poets like Dr Samar Yaab Samar, Vijender Singh Parvaaz, Vijender Gaphil, Keshav Dev Jabir, Falak Sultanpuri, Ashok Pankaj, Asraf Mewati, Daanish Gazal Merathi, Rasheed Ali and others paid tributes to the former Prime Minister, Late Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee through their verses. The programme was though in Urdu language, despite that the audience relished the programme.  
  • The Director, Haryana Urdu Academy, Dr. Narendra Kumar Upmanyu said that the Academy has taken the initiative to promote Urdu language by organising such Musahiara programmes.
