  • Chandigarh, Nov 1 –Haryana Day was celebrated with utmost enthusiasm and zeal at Haryana Raj Bhavan, here today. The function was inaugurated by Mr Satyadeo Narain Arya and the Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal by lighting a traditional lamp. The Punjab Governor, Mr V.P. Badnore was also present on the occasion.
  •  While extended warm greetings to the people of the state, Haryana Governor, Mr Satyadeo Narain Arya said that now the state has undertaken unprecedented development in every area and it is among the developed states of the country. He appealed to the people of the state to take a pledge to further making Haryana the most developed state equipped with all the modern facilities. 
  • The artists kept the audience spellbound with their performances and the Governor announced to give Rs five lakh to artists for their performance in the function. 
  • During the function, Mr Arya also honoured the winners of Sanjhi Competition with first, second, third and two consolation cash prize awards. The Sanjhi Competition was recently organised in four districts by Art and Cultural Affairs department.  
  • Others present on the occasion included, Transport Minister, Mr  Krishan Lal Panwar, Minister of State for Cooperation, Mr Manish Grover, Minister of State for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Mr Karan Dev Kamboj, Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Mr Krishan Kumar Bedi, Minister of State for Public Health Engineering, Mr. Banwari Lal, Minister of State for Labor and Employment, Mr. Nayab Singh, MLA, Panchkula, Mr  Gian Chand Gupta, Haryana Chief Secretary, Mr D. S. Dhesi and Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and other officers  of various departments and dignitaries.
  • Chandigarh, Nov 1- Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal today announced bonanza of incentives for the people of the state on the occasion of Haryana Day. In a major relief to people of villages, the Chief Minister announced to end the practice of Lal Dora and said that now the property could be registered besides maintaining their revenue records. Today, old age pension, widow pension and Divyang pension have been increased to Rs 2,000 per month.
  • The Chief Minister was addressing the largely attended gathering in Jan Vishwas Rally in Panipat today.
  • The Chief Minister said that now all former Sarpanches, Presidents of Zila Parishad and Block Samitis in the state would get monthly pension of Rs 1,000 and maximum pension of Rs 2,000 as honorarium for one tenure. Tenure of two-and-a-half years and above would be considered complete tenure.
  • The Chief Minister also announced to give pension as honorarium of Rs 2,500 to all former Mayors of all Municipal Corporations for every tenure and Rs 2,000 each to former Senior Deputy Mayor, former Deputy Mayor and Head of every Municipal Council for each tenure. Former Heads of Municipalities would get Rs 1,000 per month for each tenure. This pension would be given for maximum of two tenures and till the age of 60 years. Tenure of two-and-a-half years and above would be considered complete tenure. 
  • The Chief Minister announced to give an insurance coverage of Rs 10 lakh by the state government for those employees working on hazardous jobs like lineman, assistant lineman, fireman, sewer-man, fire driver and others in any of the government department, board, corporation and urban local bodies. In addition, the benefit of this scheme would also be given to all registered sewer men.
  • The Chief Minister said that on November 20,2017, the state government had provided all Haryana government employees the cashless treatment facility for six types of ailments. Now the facility has been extended to all diseases and its treatment expenses would be cashless. He said that now the students studying in ITIs, polytechnics, colleges and universities need not make rounds of government offices for making driving license. All desiring students would get learning license for driving from the Principals of their respective institutions and driving tests for permanent driving license would also be taken in their respective institutions and the certificate of passing the driving test would also be issued in their respective institutions.
  • The Chief Minister said that under Saksham Yuva Scheme initiated on November 1,2016, post graduate unemployed youth are given 100 hours work every month. On November 1,2017, this scheme was also implemented for the youth of B.Sc., B.Com and B.A Maths. At present, 30,668 post graduates and 22,124 graduates are registered under this scheme. Now, on November 1,2018, this scheme has been extended to graduates of all streams. The Chief Minister urged the graduate unemployed youth to get themselves registered under the scheme at the earliest. 
  • The Chief Minister said that in the last four years of the present government, 2,279 kms long new roads have been constructed and approval has been given for the construction of 1505 kms new roads. On which work is in progress. 
  • He said that roads of 3/4 karam in rural areas would be made concrete. In this current financial year, 25 kms roads in every Vidhan Sabha constituency would be made concrete. He also announced that in future, Irrigation Department would construct all water courses at 40 feet per acre instead of 24 feet per acre.
  • While congratulating the people for the completion of KMP expressway, he said that the Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi would inaugurate the expressway on November 10,2018.
  • The Chief Minister also announced 36 development projects of Rs 78 crore for the villagers of Panipat.
  • The Chief Minister also inaugurated the new block of 200-bed of District Hospital, Panipat. On the occasion, he also inaugurated 30 MLD Sewerage Treatment Plant near village Bhainswal and laid the foundation stone of Government Veterinary Polyclinic in village Hartari and laid foundation stone of improvement of road from Samalkha to Israna and from Samalkha to Sanoli road. 
  • The Chief Minister also approved the 36 demands made by the MLA Panipat, Mr Mahipal Dhanda. The demands included three tubewells in every ward of Panipat Municipal Corporation, four laning of road from Gohana to Assandh, Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC) till NFL, construction of RCC paved roads from drain number 1 to Sunauli road, construction of road from over Child Development School Model Town to Jattal road and over Jattal road-Gohana road, multipurpose hall in place of old community center in Sector 12 and two big and four small vacuum cleaner machines. 
  • Apart from this, the Chief Minister made separate announcements for the construction of RCC drain at the cost of Rs 10 crore for the drainage of dirty water and Rs 15 crore for other works. The Chief Minister said that for the Israna assembly constituency, 29 announcements of Rs 39 crore have been made for the year 2018. Apart from this, for the other works alike Panipat, Israna assembly constituency would also be given Rs 15 crore separately.
  • The Chief Minister said that a lot of works could have been done in 48 years in the state. Every government has done work be it less or more, but there are some works which have only been done by the present government. Those works could have been carried out earlier also, but either they had no intention or they remain engrossed in corruption.
  • He said that we have brought changes in the system which is benefitting the people of the state. Through Antyodaya center, Atal Seva Kendras and Gram Sachivalayas, the people are getting the benefit of 400 schemes of different departments online, under one roof. 
  • He said that the CM window had been started so that the problems of people reached the government fast and smoothly, in which, so far 4.70 lakh grievances have been redressed. He said that an amount of Rs 700 crores have been given for the construction of sheds, four walls, water and roads in crematoriums in every village of the state. This work would be completed in the next six months. 
  • He said that a pond authority has been set up to raise the water level in the state, increase the water availability and for rejuvenation of ponds. The chief minister said that 6,500 announcements were made during the 10 years tenure of the Congress government, whereas 6,800 announcements were made during our four-year tenure. While there is still one year remaining and this year the pace of development would continue. He clarified that in the fifth year, only those announcements will be made which can be completed in one year. 
  • The Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister and Mr O.P. Dhankar, Transport Minister, Mr Krishan Lal Panwar also spokes on the occasion.  Others present included Media Advisor to Chief Minister, Mr Rajiv Jain, MLA, Panipat, Mr Mahipal Danda and MLA, Samalkha, Mr Ravinder Machhrouli.
  • Chandigarh, November 1- Haryana Finance Minister, Capt Abhimanyu said that since the inception of the state, first time under the present government, the electricity rate has been reduced by almost half.
  • The Minister was addressing the gathering at Jan Vishwas Dhanyawad Rally organized on the completion of four years of present government, in Kaithal today. The Minister of State of Labour and Employment, Mr Nayab Singh was also present on the occasion.
  • He said that in a major relief to the people of the state, the state government has reduced rate of electricity by about 50 per cent.   He said that today, various social security pensions have been increased to Rs 2,000 per month, after the annual increase by the state government. The state government is formulating schemes under the name of great personalities of the country and also organizing functions to inform the people about their teachings so as to inspire the younger generations.
  • “The emergence of huge crowd at Jan Vishwas Rally is a proof that people have faith in the policies of the state government. The efforts of taking the state to new heights would continue,” Capt Abhimanyu added.
  • Giving due respect to the services of Nambardars, the state government has doubled their remuneration. Soon, 22,000 smartphones would also be distributed to work in a better way.
  • Under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana- Ayushman Bharat, people belong to poor families have been provided with the facility of health insurance up to Rs 5 lakh. The Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has carried out equitable development in all areas by following the spirit of Haryana Ek, Haryanvi Ek and Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas. By bringing transparency in the implementation of schemes, the state government is providing the benefit of schemes to the people online, he added.
  • He said that the Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi has enhanced the pride of the country by getting constructed, a 182 meters tall, Statue of Unity in Gujarat, to honour Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Iron man of India.
  • The Minister of State of Labour and Employment, Mr Nayab Singh said that the state government has decided that on the completion of four years of present government, the people would be informed about the achievements of the government by organizing Jan Vishwas Rallies
  • Chandigarh, November 1- On the occasion of Haryana Day, Haryana Industries and Commerce Minister, Mr. Vipul Goel today launched the first online Khadi Selling Centre of the state, initiative of Haryana Khadi and Village Industries Board in Panchkula today. The Board will organise Khadi Fashion Melas in 2019  to make khadi products easily available to people.
  • While extending greetings of Haryana Day to the people present, Mr Goel said that Haryana Khadi and Village Industries Board would complete its 50 years in February 2019. So far, no previous governments had ever taken such initiative for the promotion of khadi as taken by the present government under the able leadership of Mr Manohar Lal.
  • Mahatma Gandhi's charkha reminds about India’s freedom struggle.  Mahatma Gandhi had promoted khadi by adopting khadi in his life.  On his vision, Haryana Government taking special steps in the direction of promotion of khadi and cleanliness, he added.
  • He said that similarly, such Khadi selling stores would be opened at the district level and also outside the state. Mr Goel also assured Chairperson of Haryana Khadi and Village Industries Board, Mrs Gargi Kakkar on her demand to arrange an adequate budget to promote Khadi production. He said that the Board is doing well under the chairmanship of Mrs Kakkar and he hoped the Board would continue to do such efforts and there would be no shortage of funds.
  • He said that for the last many years, people were losing touch with Khadi. Now under the present government, Khadi would reach the common people through the Boards’ initiative of online Khadi selling centres. He said that spinning cotton on Charkha has taken a bigger form and today wearing Khadi has become fashion. It is a matter of pride for the people of the state.
  • He said that as the trend of online selling has taken root throughout the country, in such time Haryana Khadi and Village Industries Board has also taken such initiative for the sale of its products which is an appreciative step. He said that the Board would not be lagged behind in any field and meaningful efforts would be made to establish the identity of Khadi products of Haryana Khadi and Village Industries Board in the country as well as abroad.
  • Chairperson of Haryana Khadi and Village Industries Board, Mrs Gargi Kakkar said that on the occasion of Haryana Day, the Industries and Commerce Minister, Mr Vipul Goel has not only launched the first online Khadi selling center but has also released its brand- Har Khadi and logo. She said that such stores would also be opened in other districts on a priority basis and would be linked with self-help groups. Besides this, products of Khadi and Village Industries would be made available in departments like Tourism Corporation and other selling centers. She said that Khadi is the first choice of government led by Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi and in his Mann Ki Baat Programme, Mr Modi often speaks about promoting Khadi and Village Industries.
