  • Chandigarh, November 10- Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal will flag-off a marathon race “Run for Road Safety” on December 1, 2018  at 7 am in Yamunanagar. The online registration for getting the chest number to participate in the marathon will start from November 11, 2018.
  • While giving this information, an official spokesman said that in the present state government, six marathons had been organised in the state, of which two were in Hisar and one each in Jind, Panchkula, Ambala and Sirsa. The seventh marathon would be organised on December 1, 2018 in Yamunanagar, with theme “Run for Road Safety”.
  • He said that the marathon race “Run for Road Safety” would work in establishing a special identity of Yamunanagar in the state. In this marathon, lakhs of people belonging to different age groups of the district would participate to make it a huge success.  
  • To participate in the event and to become a volunteer one can register atwww.yamunanagarmarathon.in. The chest number cards would be made available on November 29, 2018 at Marathon Expo in Yamunanagar, he added.
  • Chandigarh, November 10- Haryana Secondary Education Department has asked the promoted 67 employees employed as Clerks, Junior Scale Stenographer, Computer-Cum-Clerk and Assistant in the regional offices of the department to be present in the counseling for the allotment of the station on November 12, 2018 at 11 am, Shiksha Sadan in Panchkula.

  • Chandigarh, November 10- Haryana Minister of State for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Mr Karan Dev Kamboj said that the present government led by Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has worked with the spirit of Haryana Ek, Haryanvi Ek and has proved that this government does not belong to any particular region, class or category rather it is for all the people of the state. During the tenure of ten years of previous government, there was resentment among people for carrying out biased development works.
  • The Minister said that in the four years of present government, the Chief Minister has so far made about 6,000 announcements of worth crores of rupees by visiting all the constituencies and understanding the situation. Out of these announcements, 80 per cent have been completed and remaining would also be completed in time, it is a record in itself, he added.
  • He said that the present state government has not only promoted  all round development in the state but has also accelerated the pace of modern and infrastructural development. The spirit of social and cultural has also been encouraged among the people.
  • He said that Gau Sewa Ayog was constituted, Gau Abhyaran was established and prohibited cow slaughter in the state. Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaigns  has successful  improved the sex ratio in the state and under Swacch Bharat Mission, Haryana was also awarded for its excellent contributions in cleanliness by the Government of India.
  • He said that the Chief Minister has made a lot of efforts to end corruption and bring transparency at the administrative level. Digitalization of many public services, e-Seva, E-Tendering and others has curbed corruption. Now, government jobs are being given on the basis of merit. The state government has also worked for the welfare of farmers. The compensation amount has also been increased to Rs 12,000 per acre, in case of loss of crops. By launching Bhavantar Bharpayee Yojana, the state government has made farming risk-free for farmers, he added.
  • Chandigarh, November 10- The Gita Mahotsav will be celebrated in a grand and spectacular manner from December 7 to 23, 2018 in district Kurukshetra, where renowned and well-known artists will give their performances.
  • While giving this information, an official spokesman said that in order to make the festival spiritual and excellent, other celebrities are also been approached to be part of this mega festival which included Actor, Akshay Kumar and singers, Anuradha Paudwal, Sonu Nigam and Gurdas Mann.
  • He said that the famous poets of the country have also been invited for the Gita Festival, which would deliver their expression based on patriotism along with spiritual vision. Apart from this, Hemant, Brajwasi, Satinder Sartaj has also been invited in the Festival.
  • Not only this, cultural programmes of Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and other states would also be presented, which would exhibit culture of the states. The Kurukshetra city would be decorated with LED lights during the festival, he added.
  • He said that Anveshana Society for Performing Arts, Delhi would also be centre of attraction in the field of dance. In spiritual programme, Padam Shree, Sumitra Guha would sing hymns at the place of aarti every day from December 13 to 18, 2018. Along with this, Aatshi Mishra would give performance on Dashavatar and Subhra Galhotra would give performance on Krishan Leela on stage. Poles at Brahamsarovar would be beautified with lights.
