  • Chandigarh, Dec 25 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal said that banks are providing loans to people at affordable rates which promotes self-employment and  setting up of industrial units. Not only this, Banks also contributes   in social    service.
  • The Chief Minister was addressing the people, after the inauguration of new branch of State Bank of India in the premises of Kalpana Chawla government medical college in Karnal today.  On the occasion, the State Bank of India presented 20 wheelchairs and 150 blankets for the facility of patients in Kalpana Chawla government medical college.
  •  Earlier, the Chief Minister inaugurated the blood donation camp in the medical college and paid tributes to former Prime Minister, Late Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
  • The Chief Minister said that State Bank of India has a history of 200 years, about 800 branches of the bank are opened in Haryana and are providing good services to the people. Banks not only keep the money of people safe but also give it back with interest. The Chief Minister also distributed loan acceptance letters to the eligible borrowers on behalf of the bank.
  • Those present included Chief General Manager, State Bank of India, Chandigarh Division, Rana Ashutosh Kumar Singh, General Manager, Mr M.L. Das, Director, Kalpana Chawla Medical College, Dr. Surender Kashyap, Hafed and MLA, Gharaunda, Mr Harvinder Kalyan, Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Aditya Dahiya and others.
  • Chandigarh, Dec 25– Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal said that caste remarks during recently held Municipal Corporations elections of Mayors have been misrepresented. From birth, every individual belongs to one or other caste; therefore, politics should not be linked to any caste.  Commenting on next elections, he said that Lok Sabha and Assembly Elections would not be held simultaneously in Haryana.
  • The Chief Minister was addressing a press conference after inaugurating the Antyodaya Saral Kendras in all 22 districts, through video conferencing in Karnal today.
  •  In reply to a question, he said that an atmosphere is being created to hold Lok Sabha and Assembly Elections simultaneously across the country, for this all political parties would have to give their views and pass a bill in the House. As far as Haryana is concerned, elections would be held on their fixed time and if this is done by Central Election Commission then the state government is ready for simultaneous elections. He said that in 2024, there can be possibility of conducting simultaneous general elections in the country.
  •  Responding to a question regarding setting up of a unit by Maruti Company in Karnal, he said that it depends on the Maruti Company, from the state government the company had been offered two places in Gurugram and one each in Samalkha, Faridabad and Karnal.
  • On being asked about Rohingya Muslims, he said that this is Central Government issue, as far as Haryana is concerned temporary stay arrangements have been made for them, by the Home Department.
  • The Chief Minister said that today is the birth anniversary of two great personalities of India, Former Prime Minister, Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya and thus, Good Governance programmes are being organised across the country. In this connection, 485 schemes and services of 37 departments have been launched today. He said that through the medium of e-Governance, people could be provided with good governance. He said that under the Right to Service Act, services are already being provided in a time bound manner and in Saral Kendras also services would be time bound.
  • In reply to a question, the chief minister said that feedback of Saral Kendras would be sought from all districts and the best performing Kendra would be honoured. In reply to a question regarding Polyclinic in sector-16, he said that he was informed that its building is ready and health department has been sent demand letter for the appointment of doctors and other staff.
  • On the occasion, the chief minister also released a journal of Haryana Patarkar Sangh.  Vice-Chairman of Sangh, Mr K.V. Pandit also raised some demands for journalists before the Chief Minister.
  • Chandigarh, Dec 25 –Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal today furthered the Digital India Vision of Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi by launching 485 schemes and services of 37 departments under Digital Haryana, through video conferencing in Karnal.
  •  On the occasion of birth anniversary of former Prime Minister, Late  Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Good Governance programmes have been organised across the country and under which, the Chief Minister today inaugurated 22 Antyodya Saral Kendras for all district headquarters, from Karnal. With this, Haryana has become the first state in the country, where 4,000 Atal Seva Kendras in rural areas, 22 at District Headquarters, 51 at Sub-Divisional level and 20 Antyodya Saral Kendras at Tehsil level, have been launched simultaneously at such a large scale.
  • The Chief Minister said that after the present government came to power, online e-Registry services were launched on the occasion of Good Governance Day on December 25, 2014, so that people need not make rounds of government departments for their work. At that time, it seemed to be a difficult task but with the support of Information and Technology Department, Haryana, National Informatics Centre, HARTRON, Chief Minister Good Governance Associates and the hard work and a spirit to serve in Deputy Commissioners turned this into reality. Haryana has set an example in the country.  The Chief Minister congratulated the entire team on this.
  • Through Video conferencing, the Chief Minister directed the concerned officers to ensure that there is adequate space available for Saral Kendras and all the schemes and services are displayed on the board for the convenience of the public. The Chief Minister also inaugurated Antyodaya Helpline number 1800-2000-023 and also dialed the toll free from his mobile and enquired about requirement of documents for Ration Card.
  • On the occasion, Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’, Mr O.P.Dhankar at Jhajjar, suggested that a SARAL App. should be launched so that people could get all information about schemes on their smart phones at home. Apart from this, employees posted at these centers should have the dedication to serve, they should be also be honoured for this and every month, photo of good employees should also be displayed there. The employees should also be given necessary training. Similarly, MP, Bhiwani, Mr Dharmaveer said that the registry of rural development and revenue department should also be linked to the Saral Kendras.
  • The Education Minister, Mr Ram Bilas Sharma at Sirsa, Chairman, Haryana Public Enterprises Bureau, Dr Kamal Gupta, and MLA, Panchkula, Mr Gian Chand Gupta also shared views of the Chief Minster.
  •  The Chief Minister appreciated the suggestion of Mr Dhankar about launch of Saral App on the pattern of Umang App of Central Government, to provide information about all schemes and soon steps would be taken in this direction. He said that the aim of this project is to ensure that the citizen service delivery becomes effective, easy and corruption-free so that the citizen does not have to depend upon agents and middlemen to get benefits.
  • He said that on the pattern of CM Window, everyday services being given at  Saral Kendras would be monitored at Headquarters in Chandigarh.
  • The Chief Minister extended his best wishes to the administration of newly created district Charkhi Dadri on getting 9.9 Saral points. In Saral points, Karnal and Panipat are at second place, Kurukshetra at third, Sirsa at fourth, Sonipat at fifth and Rohtak at sixth place. The departments and districts would be ranked on the basis of performance of their Antyodaya Saral Kendras as per monitoring.   
  • On the occasion, the Chief Minister also honored 11 employees with citation letter for giving special assistance in creating Antyodaya Saral Kendra Portal. Apart from this, he  also honoured Chief Minister Governance Associates Mr Vijay, Mr Hardik Rathore, Mr Aditya Chopra, Mr Ujjawala Rehan, Gitika Ahuja, Mansa Acharya and Gaurav Goyal, for their support
  • Those present included Chairman, Hafed and MLA, Gharaunda, Mr Harvinder Kalyan, newly elected Mayor of Municipal Corporation, Mrs Renu Bala Gupta, Vice-Chairman, Swachh Bharat Mission, Mr Subhash Chander and others.
  • Chandigarh, Dec 25– Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal today announced to name all the Child Care Institutes being run in the state as Jagannath Ashrams.
  • The Chief Minister made this announcement while addressing the people during a dance competition organised by women wing of All India Vaish Federation, in Karnal today.
  • He said that when all the Child Care Institutions have a similar goal of all-round development of the children then it would be appropriate to give a single name to all. He made this announcement with the consent of representatives of the institutions and children present there.
  • He said that organization of such programme by social institutions provides a platform to children to show their talent and move forward in their lives. He said that social institution like All India Vaish Federation is dedicated to helping the children and working in the interest of society. All social institutions must take inspiration from this Federation and should come forward to help such children. This would provide them equal opportunity to move ahead in their lives. In this dance competition, the children of  various Bal Bhavans participated.
  • Chandigarh, Dec 25– Haryana Governor, Mr Satyadeo Narain Arya today inaugurated a free camp for eye checkup and blood donation in Naraingarh, Ambala, on the occasion of Birth Anniversary of former Prime Minister, Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee (Good Governance Day). The Governor also inaugurated Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Bhavan and announced a grant of Rs 10 lakh for the building.
  • Earlier, the Governor paid floral tributes to former Prime Minister, Late  Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
  • The Governor visited the blood donation camp and encouraged the blood donors and pinned badges from the District Red Cross Society. He also visited eye camp and spoke to doctors and eye patients.
  • Mr Arya said that blood  is only made in the human body, it cannot be made in laboratories or factories so every individual should donate blood.
  • While paying tributes to former Prime Minister, Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, he said that former Prime Minister, Lal Bahadur Shashtri had given the slogan of Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan and Atal Bihari ji furthered the slogan as Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan and Jai Vigyan. Not bowing to international pressure, Mr Vajpayee got conducted nuclear tests at Pokhran and declared to the world that India is a nuclear power.
  • MP, Mr Ratan Lal Kataria also paid his tributes to late Mr Vajpayee and also announced to give Rs 11 lakh to Saini Dharamshala. On the occasion, MLA, Ladwa, Dr. Pawan Saini also paid his tributes.
