Chandigarh, December 6- On the occasion of Armed Forces Flag Day, Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal extended his warm greetings to the State people and country soldiers.
The Minister of State for Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare, Mr. Om Prakash Yadav pinned a Flag sticker to the Chief Minister at his residence here today. On this occasion, the Chief Minister, by giving his contribution inaugurated the work of collecting donations for the welfare of military families.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that Flag Day gives an opportunity for everyone to show their solidarity towards the serving and retired soldiers of the armed forces and their families who has sacrificed their lives for the country.
The Minister of State for Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare, Mr. Om Prakash Yadav, said that on December, 7, Armed Forces Flag Day is celebrated all over the country. He said that the main objective of celebrating Flag Day is to rehabilitate the families of war victims, ex-servicemen and further to work for the welfare of serving personnel and their families. Director, Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare department Mr. Rahul Yadav and other officers were present.
