  • Chandigarh, January 1: Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal directed the Deputy Commissioners to make the people aware about various welfare schemes and programmers  of the State  government so that they could avail benefits of the same.
  • Mr Manohar Lal was presiding over a meeting of all Deputy Commissioners of the State through video conferencing on the occasion of New Year here today. Finance and Planning Minister, Capt Abhimanyu was also present in the meeting. 
  • Among those present in the meeting included Chief Secretary Mr D.S Dhesi, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Mr Rajesh Khullar, Deputy Principal Secretary Mrs Ashima Brar, Additional Chief Secretary Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department Mr Ram Niwas, Additional Chief Secretary Health and Family Welfare Department Mr Rajiv Arora, Principal Secretary Development and Panchayats Mr Sudhir Rajpal, Principal Secretary Finance and Planning Mr T.V.S.N Prasad, Principal Secretary Information Technology Mr Ankur Gupta, Principal Secretary Women and Child Development Department Mr Raj Sekhar Vundru, Principal Secretary Social Justice and Empowerment Mrs Neerja Sekhar, Mission Director National Health Mission Mrs Amneet. P. Kumar, Director General, Urban Local Bodies Mr Shekhar Vidyarthi and other senior officers of the State Government.
  • Chandigarh, January 1:  Board of School Education, Haryana had earlier fixed last date for online capturing of data for enrolment of government, permanent or temporary recognized middle schools and senior secondary schools, without late fee as December 28, 2018 for the academic session 2018-19.
  • While giving details an official spokesperson said that on the basis of the list of temporary recognized schools received from the Education Department, Panchkula, the Board has now extended the last date without late fee up to January 27, 2019 which was earlier fixed as December 28, 2018.
  • Chandigarh, January 1:  The Haryana Government has promoted three Personal Assistants of the Haryana Civil Secretariat to the post of Private Secretary with immediate effect.
  • Those promoted included Mrs. Anita Saini, Mr. Ramesh Kumar and Mrs. Sunita Kumari.
  • Chandigarh, Jan 1 – Haryana Information, Public Relations and Languages Department has promoted eight officials of the Department with immediate effect.
  • Tej Pal, Accountant has been promoted as Section Incharge, against a vacant post.
  • Ravinder Kumer, Press Facility Assistant has been promoted as Production Incharge, against a vacant post.
  • Sushila, Sales Manager has been promoted as Distribution Assistant, against a vacant post.
  • Sunita Kumari, Cashier has been promoted as Auditor, against a vacant post.
  • Kuldeep Singh, Assistant has been promoted as Press Facility Assistant vice Ravinder Kumar.
  • Sunil Kumar, Assistant has been promoted as Accountant vice Tej Pal.
  • Raghunanadan, Assistant has been promoted as Store Assistant-cum-Accountant, against a vacant post.
  • Bala Dutt Joshi, Clerk has been promoted as Assistant, against a vacant post.
