- Chandigarh, December 2 - Haryana State Transport Department will conduct counseling for the selected candidates to the post of conductors for allotment of depots on December 3 and 4, 2018 at Directorate, State Transport, Haryana, 30 Bays Building, Second Floor, Sector 17, Chandigarh. The Haryana Staff Selection Commission has declared the result of the post of conductors on December 2, 2018.
- While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that counseling would be held from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm on December 3 and 4, 2018 on the basis of merit list, which has been uploaded on the web site of the department ( www.hartrans.gov.in).
- He said that if for any reason the candidate is not able to come on the fixed date, then he can send his preference of depot through his representative as per the seniority so that depot can be allocated as per the merit.
- Chandigarh, December 2: Haryana Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Mr Krishan Kumar Bedi said that International Gita Mahotsav has brought fame and global recognition to Kurukshetra. The International Gita Mahotsav will be organised from December 7 to December 23 in which Mauritius will be the partner country and Gujarat will be the partner State. The State Government has given International status to Gita Jayanti so as to bring it on the world map.
- Mr Bedi was speaking at the flagging off ceremony of International Gita Mahotsav (IGM) Run 2018, organised by Kurukshetra Development Board and department of Sports and Youth Affairs in Kurukshetra today. Local MLAs and senior officers were also present during this Marathon. Every year, the State Government adds more colors to its form so as to make the event (International Gita Mahotsav) more popular at the International level. The Marathon (IGM Run 2018) has been organised to connect common people especially youth with this Mahotsav.
- The Minister said that he has taken part in this event as a common man and not as a chief guest as this is every citizen’s own Mahotsav. All the people enthusiastically wait for this Mahotsav, he added.
- The Minister reviewed the ongoing preparations for Gita Mahotsav at Brahm Sarovar and directed the officials to make some improvements.
- During this IGM Run 2018, in 6 Kilometer race of boys, Ashok Kumar from Karnal who bagged first position, has been awarded with Rs 31000, Reenu Kumar of Meerut (2ndposition) Rs. 21000 and Ravinder Kumar of Lucknow (third Position) has been awarded with Rs.11000. Similarly, Sachin resident of Ambala, Ravi of Kaithal, Dharmendra of Rohtak, Balsinder, Aman, Ankit of Panipat and Amit of Yamuna Nagar Have been awarded with Rs 2100 each. In 4 Kilometer race of women, Anita of Kaithal has been awarded with Rs. 31000, Divyanka Chaudhary of Yamuna Nagar with Rs. 21000 and Anu Panipat with Rs. 11000 respectively. Similarly, residents of Kurukshetra including Anu, Anjali, Anjali Rani, Neha, Savita, Avleen Kaur and Priya have been awarded with Rs. 2100 each.
- Besides this, in Senior Citizen Women category Jamna Dhamija and in Senior Citizen Men category Sarwanand have been awarded with cheque of Rs. 2100 each.
- The Minister also urged all the officers, teachers and people to motivate and invite people to take part in International Gita Mahotsav. This year Gita Mahotsav would be celebrated in more grand way. This Mahotsav should be celebrated by all the people as it is their own Mahotsav and they should make efforts to invite more and more people to this event, the Minister added.
- On this occasion, MLA Subhash Sudha while congratulating the participants of this IGM Run 2018 said that the State Government is making efforts to make every moment of this Mahotsav memorable. Every year Marathon is organised before Gita Mahatosav and thousands of people take part in this event. MLA Pawan Saini also spoke on the occasion.
- Chandigarh, December 2 – The Union Ministry of Women and Child Development has invited nominations for Nari Shakti Puraskar, 2018, the highest civilian honour for Women in India by December 10, 2018.
- While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that Nari Shakti Puraskar is given for honouring women who rise above barriers, ventures into unexpected sectors and make a lasting contribution to the society.
- He said that the Nari Shakti Puraskar is open to all individuals and institutions for outstanding work in the areas of economic and social empowerment of women. The individual applicant should be atleast 25 years of age and institution should have atleast five years of relevant experience. - Chandigarh, December 2 –Haryana Secondary Education Department has requested all the candidates whose names have been recommended by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission for the post of Post Graduate Teachers Computer Science (Rest of Haryana cadre) to appear before the documents verification Committee in the office of Director General, Secondary Education Department at Shiksha Sadan, Sector Panchkula on December 3 for roll numbers 1 to 200 and on December 4 from 201 to 394.
- While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that the candidates should reach the office of Director General, Secondary Education Department at 9.30 am on their scheduled dates and bring their original certificates and documents pertaining to their case/claim for the appointment to the post of Post Graduate Teachers Computer Science. They should also bring self attested photo copies of all their documents pertaining to their case/claim for the appointment to the post of Post Graduate Teachers Computer Science. No further opportunity will be granted for the verification of their documents, he added.
- Chandigarh, Dec 2 - The written test for the posts of Sub Inspectors, both Male and Female were held smoothly across the State today as Haryana Police has made elaborate security arrangements around the examination centres. Adequate Officers and Police personnel were deployed at all the centres for the conduct of examination which were held in a transparent manner.
- While stating this here today, a spokesman of Police Department said that Director General of Police (DGP) Mr B S Sandhu himself made surprise inspection at D C Model School, Sec 7, Hansraj Public School Sec 6 Panchkula, St Josephs, Ambala City, DAV Police Public School and PKR Jain school Ambala and other centres in Kurukshetra districts to oversee the arrangements. Besides this, the Range ADGPs/ IGs, CsP, district Superintendents of Police were also ensured the smooth and fair conduct of exams.
- The police had also taken all necessary steps to ensure smooth flow of traffic in the towns and the Highways for the candidates so that they could reach the examination centres without any problem.
- The written examination for 463 posts of Sub Inspectors (Male and Female) was held under the Transparent Recruitment Process (TRP) of the State Government. The exam was conducted in the morning for Males and in the afternoon for the Females.
- Chandigarh, Dec 2: Haryana Government has notified December 7, 2018 (Friday), the day of poll for general election to Legislative Assembly of Rajasthan, as paid holiday for its employees who are enrolled as voters in Rajasthan, to enable them exercise their franchise. Such employees can avail special casual leave, paid, on that day.
- While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that the holiday would be observed under section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act 1881 and section 135-B of Representation of the People Act in all Haryana government offices, boards and corporations and educational institutes in respect of those staff of the state government who are registered voters in Rajasthan.
- He said that it was also notified that employees of various factories, shops and private establishments located in Haryana, who are registered voters of Rajasthan, can take paid leave under Section 135-B of the Representation of the People Act for the similar purpose.

- Chandigarh, December 2 – Haryana Government has appointed ten officers as Link Officers for the purpose of looking after the work of Commissioners Municipal Corporations during vacancy arising out of transfer/ retirement and during leave/training/tour or election duty. The officer will inform his link officer before proceeding on leave/training/tour or election duty.
- While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that the Link Officer for Commissioner Municipal Corporation, Gurugram will be Commissioner Municipal Corporation, Faridabad and Commissioner Municipal Corporation, Faridabad will be Link Officer for Commissioner Municipal Corporation, Gurugram.
