Chandigarh, March 11 As per the announcement made by the Election Commission of India, the General Elections to Lok Sabha 2019 will be held in Haryana in the 6th phase on May 12, 2019. With the announcement of Elections, the Model Code of Conduct has come into force.

While giving this information here today, Joint Chief Electoral Officer of Haryana, Dr. Inder Jeet said that the notification for the General Elections to Lok Sabha-2019 in Haryana will be issued on April 16, 2019. He said that the last date for filing nomination papers is April 23. The documents will be scrutinized on April 24 and the last date for withdrawal of nomination papers is April 26. He said that on May 12, elections will be held for 10 seats of Lok Sabha and counting of votes will be held on May 23, 2019.
