Chandigarh September 13: Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has announced to rename the stations falling in Haryana segment on Bahadurgarh to Mundka Metro line and metro stations on the Mujesar (YMCA Chowk) to Ballabhgarh Metro Corridor.
Mr Manohar Lal was addressing a press conference here today.
The Chief Minister said that among the stations falling in Haryana segment on Bahadurgarh to Mundka Metro line, the MIE Metro Station has been renamed as Pandit Shree Ram Sharma Metro Station, Bus Stand Metro Station as Bahadurgarh City Metro Station and City Park Metro Station as Brig. Hoshiar Singh Metro Station.
He said that similarly, among metro stations on the Mujesar (YMCA Chowk) to Ballabhgarh Metro Corridor, NCB Colony Metro Station has been renamed as Sant Surdas (Sihi) Metro Station and Ballabhgarh Metro Station as Raja Nahar Singh Metro Station.

The Chief Minister said that during the tenure of present government, three metro lines have been inaugurated. These included Badarpur to Mujesar (YMCA Chowk), Sikanderpur Metro station to sector-56 Gurugaon and Bahadurgarh to Mundka. An amount of Rs 4650.36 crore has been spent on the development of these metro corridors, he added.
He said that the Mujesar (YMCA Chowk) TO Ballabhgarh Metro line having length of 3.205 kilometer is ready for commission at an estimated cost of Rs 580 croreand would be inaugurated shortly.
Among those present on this occasion included Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Mr Rajesh Khullar, Principal Secretary Town and Country Planning Mr A.K Singh, Director General, Information Public Relations and Languages Department Mr Sameer Pal Srow,Director Town and Country Planning Mr K.M Pandurang, Chief Administrator HSVP Mr J. Ganeshan and Media Advisor to Chief Minister Mr Amit Arya.
